This cake was excellent! The cake stuck just a bit to the pan after baking and cooling, so I will definitely use parchment paper the next time. Luckily, it is a tiered cake with frosting, so no one could tell. The frosting turned out almost perfect, I didn't stir CONSTANTLY like the recipe said, and I wound up picking out small lumps of egg yolk. Make sure to stir CONSTANTLY. I doubled the frosting recipe and had about 1 cup left over. I didn't do the chocolate drizzle as suggested. The cake was plenty rich enough without it. Everyone raved about the cake. I will make this cake again some time!
