Best Italian Sausage Soup

My Special Shrimp Scampi Florentine

Easier to prepare than I thought. I was short on some ingredients, ended up using rotel and used lemon flavored crisco vegi oil. Served over noodles and the lemon flavor gave a nice contrast, the rotel didn't hurt for just a small touch of a bite, was actually quite pleased.

Cajun Chicken Pasta

This is a definite winner. You could also use other vegis such as broccoli or others to spice the recipe up. This will become a staple at our house a wonderful blend of New Orleans style cuisine.

Apple Dip

Used the strawberry cream cheese and would have liked plain better or to have followed some of the other options for flavor. People really liked it though and it was extremely easy and economical to make. Quite nice and pleasant.

Chicken Liver Appetizers

Recipe was actually quite easy and quite tasty. There was the obvious hesitation to try from those who don't like liver but the bacon really hides the liver flavor quite nicely. Actually a couple of folks tried it and didn't like liver and they were pleasently surprised. I did use lite syrup as opposed to honey and I liked it much better as did my guests. Overall quite good and I'll use it again. The liver was a little messy to wrap but the end result was quite nice.

Pineapple Upside-Down Cake IV

The cake was really good with a nice texture but left me a little disapointed. I have used the Justin Wilson Pineapple Upside-Down Cake and it is just hard to beat that particular recipie. I added some pecan and almond slivers along with a touch more brown sugar and pineapple juice the next time I made the cake and these items added a little more variety.
