A great starter recipe, though I would make quite a few changes. I love the idea of using half white and half brown sugar, adding a little honey, and substituting some of the oil for butter. It has a light corn flavor that slowly builds, so for more of an initial punch I would do as suggested and use more corn meal and less flour. The texture is fantastic and I love that lightly crunchy crust!

Cream of Broccoli Soup III

I was really hoping for more with this recipe, but it turned out thin and bland. I had to doctor it with a bunch of spices, but even then I was unimpressed. Unfortunately it doesn't look like there's a good cream of broccoli soup that's not loaded with calories.

Golden Carrot Buns

I don't need any other roll recipe! These were fantastic! They have a great consistency and wonderful light flavor. We have to share these or we'll eat them all in minutes! I'm definitely going to begin using these as my new holiday rolls!

Baked Potato Soup V

Wow, this blew me away! I used real shredded bacon, 1% milk, and added some freshly minced garlic. It reminded me of the ham potato casserole my mom used to make when I was a kid :)

Sun Dried Tomato and Asiago Cheese Bread

These were much more dense than anticipated and not nearly as flavorful. Next time I will play around and add more herbs, garlic, and let it rise for a longer period of time.

Broccoli Chicken Divan

It tasted just like the Chicken Divan I used to have as a kid, though this turned out a tad too runny for me. I'll have to tweak it for my oven, but all in all, I was very pleased!

Indian Chicken Curry II

This was very good! I used only half of the amount of olive oil and substituted the other half with sesame hot chile oil for a little extra heat. This was a tad sweeter than I expected it to be, but I still got great feedback from my company :) Thanks for sharing!

Guacamole

Great guac! I used grape tomatoes (I like that they're a tad sweeter) and leeks (I didn't have any regular onions) and added just a pinch of cumin. Awesome and gone in minutes! Next time I'll definitely double or triple the recipe!
