Amazing Southwest Cilantro Lime Mango Grilled Chicken Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2010
I cheated a little (okay a lot) and used Newman's Peach Salsa. I loved the combination of the grilled veggies, sweet and spicy salsa and the tartness of the lime. Will definitely make again.

Spaghetti Carbonara II

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2009
I used turkey bacon and added peas. I took another reviewer's advice to premix the eggs and cheese. It was delicious.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2009
I've made this about a dozen times and have found my perfect recipe. I double the spices and the pumpkin, use half brown sugar and half whole wheat pastry flour. If I'm making muffins, I add 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder. I always plan on freezing some, but we gobble them up too quickly. Yum!

Crisp Apple and Sausage Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2009
I love this salad. I make it for dinner almost every week scaled down for two people. The only thing I do differently is saute the onion for a couple of minutes with the sausage. Thanks!

Thai Chicken Bites With Dipping Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2009
I make this often with angel hair pasta for a quick lunch or dinner. I usually skip the chopped peanuts and add a squeeze of lime over the final dish. Leftovers are great.

Butternut Squash Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2008
This is my favorite squash soup. I've made several times with and without the cream cheese (prefer without), with stock and 1 added boullion cube instead of water, and increased the cayenne b/c we like heat. It's a nice change from the brown sugar/cinnamon flavors you usually get with squash. Thanks for sharing!

Cranberry Chutney I

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2008
Used balsamic instead of cider vinegar. DH and I really like, but I thought our Thanksgiving guests would miss the jellied version (the one shaped like the can). I was pleasantly surprised when everyone else liked it too, so five stars!

Fruity Curry Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2008
Yum! I used what I had on hand (substituted rotisserie chicken, craisins, red onion). I love the sweetness of the fruit with the chicken and the pecans add a great crunch. And so quick to put together! Made again for a party with my less-than-adventurous family and was shocked to see it disappear.

Rhubarb Strawberry Crunch

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2008
I made this twice, adjusting the sugar in the filling to the sweetness of the strawberries. A definite favorite in my house.
