Fluffy Pancakes

These were pretty good. I do prefer the taste of real buttermilk, so I will probably use the real stuff next time. It only makes 8 pancakes. I would make these again.

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

This is a great recipe. It was sooo easy to make too. We made personal pizzas and they were delicious and they were a HUGE hit! This is the best pizza dough recipe I have made before. It was perfect all the way around; taste, crisp on the bottom, chewy on the inside. I baked them for 10 min. then pulled them out and brushed them with melted butter that was mixed with a fresh pressed clove of garlic and then put on the sauce and toppings and baked another 10 min. So good!! Try this recipe, you won't be disappointed!

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

This was a very delicious turkey! We all really enjoyed it and I am not usually very fond of turkey. The only thing that I did a little differently was divide the parsley, minced onion, and salt in half and put half under the skin with the butter and mixed the other half with the water and bouillon as the recipe called. It was very good!!

Stuffed Jalapenos III

These were so incredibly yummy!! I made 50 of them last night for a Chistmas party and everyone raved over them. I added some sharp cheddar on top of the cream cheese before wrapping in bacon. After they baked I broiled them for a few minutes to get the bacon extra crispy. I am making them again on Christmas Eve and will be many other times in the future too!! Yummy!!

Chai Tea Mix

This is delicious! I used the extra spices and I followed the recipe exactly. I did not use the cardamom however because you can't get it in my little town and I was to impatient to wait for it to be shipped to me (via online)!! But I will be getting some for my next batch. This does make a lot, but thats good because I like to enjoy 1-2 cups of this a day, mixed with hot milk. I am planning on making more to give as christmas gifts too! Do make sure that if you use a blender, to mix it really well. I spent a long time mixing it, so it got nice and fine, and it dissolves nicely and is not gritty.

Toll House® Blonde Brownies

These were very yummy! However, they did resemble bar cookies and not blonde brownies, they tasted almost exactly like the nestle toll house cookies. But no matter, they were yummy and we devoured them!!

Brisket with BBQ Sauce

This was good. It was a 5 star before the sauce was put on it though. My husband I both liked it sooooo much better without the suace. I will definitly make it again, just with no sauce!! :)

Special Buttercream Frosting

AWESOME frosting!! I have been trying all of them on this site lately and this has been my favorite!! I did as some suggested and used 1 1/2 cup shortening and 1/2 cup of butter and used butter flavoring as well as vanilla. So good and I got soooooo many compliments. This recipe does make A LOT. I had a lot to frost so it was great for me. I was able to frost 33 cupcakes and 2 bundt cakes and I still had enough left over to do a few dozen sugar cookies. Please try this recipe, its great!!

Plain and Simple Sourdough Bread

My family LOVES this recipe. It is soooo good. I follow the recipe just as given, I just bake mine different. I put it in my bread machine on the dough cycle. Then when it's done, I knead it a little bit and shape it into a round loaf on my cookie sheet, then let it rise again. I like to slit the top of it right before it goes in the oven and I bake it at 375 degrees for 15 min. then I pull it out and brush melted butter on the top and bake it for 5 more min. And the end results are fabulous!! :)

French Toast Casserole

This was very easy to make and very yummy too! I did have to call it a French Toast Bake and not casserole to get my kids to eat it!! :) For some reason they are scared of the word casserole! But give this one a try, you'll like it!!

Simple Whole Roasted Chicken

This was very good! We enjoyed it. I followed the recipe like it said but I cooked it differant. I cooked it at 250 degrees for 5 hours. Yum!
