Big Soft Ginger Cookies

These are so so so good! Make sure to take them out of the oven just before you actually think they are done. They will finish cooking while they cool. This helps keep them soft.

Cheesy Potato and Corn Chowder

Judy's Strawberry Pretzel Salad

This has got to be one of my very favorite desserts!!! I haven't tried it yet, but I'm pretty sure it could very easily be made sugar free/low fat by changing out a few ingredients. Perfect summer dessert!

Zucchini Cornbread Casserole

Yum Yum! I only had one zucchini on hand, so I shredded the zucchini, half a sweet onion, and two small potatoes together to make a full 2 cups combined. Everything else, I did as directed. There are tons of ways you could play around with this and it still be awesome........I'm thinking some shredded eggplant, maybe some carrots!!!! This is for sure a keeper!!!!

Ham N Cheese Quiches

My cousin made these just as the recipe states for a Christmas party. They were a HUGE hit and all of us ended up leaving the party with a copy of the recipe in hand. I've tried them a couple of time since and my grandmother has made them. Some tips: *do not omit the cheese in the crust. It is required not only for flavor, but also for texture. *we think the OLD ENGLISH cheese works best. * self rising flour does not work!!!! The crust will be way to thick and these are best when you get the crust pretty thin. *Bacon pieces can be used in the place of the ham, but sausage doesn't work that well. *we have also used this same recipe for a full size quiche and it turned out great!
