Slow Cooker Dump and Go Cheesy Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2009
Followed suggestions of other reviewers. Used two cans of fiesta cheese soup, one can of crm of cx, and 1/2 c. milk. Used 4-5 cloves of fresh garlic, and lots of italian seasoning. Cut up red/yellow pprs and fresh tomato and threw those on top when there was abt 10 minutes left. Served it with egg noodles. My husband also added garlic salt to his serving. Would make this again.

Ricotta Gnocchi

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2009
Very good and very easy, and I have little experience making things from scratch! Never have had gnocchi before but liked the cheese flavor.(used part skim and part whole milk ricotta). They did take abt 3 minutes to boil. I made extra everything and have frozen the leftovers. Don't think I needed to dbl the olive oil for the sauce. The sauce was a little too cheesy (and I love cheese). Used the diced italian style tom, and added extra oreg/basil/garlic besides. We will make this again!

Three Cheese Manicotti II

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2009
increase bake time to at least 45 minutes if not cooking noodles all the way. Try adding fresh cut spinach to mix next time.

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2010
I took the advice on the 1/2 cup apple sauce in place of 1/2 c butter. Also went with more flour, more baking soda, more salt since I used unsalted butter, a little more oats and baked at 335 degrees but had to go 15 minutes instead of the suggested 12 to get a good product. Slight variation is I also added craisins just because we love em! Cookies turned out very nice and probably won't last long!

Cousin Cosmo's Greek Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2011
Loved it! Cut pockets into 4 cx breasts and added the chz, lemon juice, oreg, and a bit of red ppr flakes. Used red sodium cx broth/1 tbsp flour after browning the cx. Added a can of diced tom with seasoning, simmered for 15 min and threw the spinach on top with 3-4 minutes to go. Added garlic to the sauce too. Served with cous cous (pine nut). Planning to use the leftover sauce later this week for angel hair pasta (maybe add corn starch to thicken it up a bit)

We've been making these each weekend with different add-ins. Today was vanilla, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, and ginger. Delicious!

Shrimp Primavera

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2013
Used 2 zucchinis sliced,, 1 big yellow squash cut into quarters, 1 onion, 1 green pepper, no mushrooms, and lots of garlic! Sauteed in olive oil instead of veg oil. Used some kind of tube pasta and seasonings as listed. Had cooked shrimp so just threw them in at the end to get warmed up. I loved it and my husband did too once he spiced it up with more red pepper flakes.
