Artichoke & Spinach Dip Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2012
They key ingredient for this recipe is garlic! I dont used the Alfredo pasta sauce. Instead, I use 1/2 cup sour cream, 1/4 cup mayo and I use 8 oz of cream cheese. I add a little bit of salt, pepper and basil.

Kickin Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2012
Everyone eats up this recipe! I have made it several different ways now. I have done sausage or turkey. I have topped with salsa or just tomatoes. I have also wrapped them in bacon It really depends on what I am serving it with. There are never any leftovers.

Italian Breaded Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2011
This is probably my new favorite pork chop recipe! I made a few minor changes based on the previous reviews. I didn't have any Italian bread crumbs on hand so I used plain but added 2 tbsp of Italian seasoning. I only used 2 eggs and that was plenty! I will probably only use 1 cup of bread crumbs next time because I had so much left over. I heated the garlic on a skillet and decided to mix it in with the egg mix. I breaded the chops and baked them in the oven without putting them in the skillet. I cooked them for 30 min at 375 but I'll probably make it more like 25-28 minutes because they were a tad dry around the edges. They were sooooo flavorful! I will use this often!!!

EZ Pizza for Kids

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2011
It wasnt my favorite. Simple and easy. I made mine a little more grown up by adding onions, green and red peppers. Left my husbands the same as the recipe since he eats like a kid. I also used spaghetti sauce since I didnt have any pizza sauce. When I cooked the sausage I added garlic and italian seasoning. I also drained the meat. I cook for 11 minutes but the dough was not done so I continued to cook it for about 18 minutes and checked on it a few times. It still was a bit soggy on the bottom but I think that could be remedied with a few more minutes in the oven

Easy Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2011
Super easy. Read over the reviews and made a couple of additions. I added an additional can of tuna, a bit of lemon juice, cayenne pepper and Old Bay Seasoning. I tossed in some peas. I also added 1 cup of milk. I topped with both cheddar cheese and Parmesan . I did not use the fried onions. It still turned out a bit dry, so next time I think I'll add 2 cans of soup or up the milk.

Stuffed Zucchini

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2011
I liked this recipe. I used turkey instead of sausage for fat. I used the full cup of bread crumbs but everyone was right and I should have only used a half. I added diced tomatoes, mushrooms and onions. Of course, for my husband I used a bit more cheese on his slices. I did not cook the boats before I stuffed them but I did leave it in the oven for 5 minutes longer just in case. They turned out great

Creamy Chicken Florentine

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2011
It was decent. After reading some of the reviews, I made a few changes. I seasoned the chicken with salt/pepper and garlic. I cooked the chicken a bit before I added the peppers because I like my peppers a little crispier than most. I also added a little chicken broth so it wouldn't dry out. I added 1/2 a can of Cream of chicken soup to make it a little more saucy. My husband and I relatively enjoyed it.. Will make again but nothing special

Best Ziti Ever

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2011
This is a good recipe. I customized it a bit by adding chopping and adding a whole tomato and 6 oz of spinach. My husband devoured it and hes not a huge vegetable fan. Hey, I got to sneak them in when I can!

I will surely use this in the future! I loved it. I made some minor changes. I grilled the onions with the garlic then added the pork chops.I added a little bit of red pepper flakes. I used balsamic dressing instead and used about 3-4 tablespoons. I topped with tomatoes and continuted to grill. I added just a touch of chicken broth to keep the meat juicy. It was great!

I liked this receipe. I grilled the chicken w/ extra virgin olive oil and garlic. I cooked the rice by itself and added mushrooms with the fresh broccoli. I also added red pepper flakes and more pepper. I also used 3/4 cup cheese and added it when I pulled it off of the stove. Topped with parmesean. It was pretty good.

Pizza Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2009
Since I am trying to be healthier, I made this meal with ground turkey and turkey pepperoni. I also added a clove of garlic while cooking. For extra flavor I added 1/2 tsp of oregano, 1 tsp italian seasoning and 1 tsp red pepper flakes. I also added half a cup of cheddar cheese. I used more sauce because I hate my meals dry. Over all this meal was super easy and tasty.

Cajun Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2009
I loved making this recipe. I did make a few minor changes, I added red pepper flakes and upped the cajun. I love spicy foods! Instead of heavy cream (due to the fat) I had low fat sour cream and to make it a little more saucy I threw in some chicken broth. I also added a little lemon juice because I felt like something was missing. It totally made the flavors pop. Also I used real garlic instead of the powder. Just for color I added yellow peppers and tossed out the mushrooms (because I hate them). Over all this recipe is easy and great! My picky husband ate every bite.

Baked Spaghetti I

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2008
I was not to crazy about the mushroom topping, and neither was anyone else that ate it. However, under that it was pretty tasty. After reading the reviews I doubled the tomatoes, added one 8 oz jar of tomato paste, 2 cups of mozzarella and only one cup of cheddar. Overall, half the group liked it and the other half did not care for it
