About this Cook
I'm a wife of 8 years and a SAHM of three kids. I like quick and easy dinners but once in a while I like to try something new and a little more time consuming.
My favorite things to cook
Whatever comes out good! lol I really like to make pie and brownies.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My dad is a chef so if he tries what I make and likes it then I know I've done a good job.
My cooking triumphs
I made a great soup from a recipe on here! I also make a yummy salmon using a marinade I found on here and also pie.

Japanese Chicken Wings
Loved it!!! Even my picky eater kids loved it and asked for seconds! The only thing I did different was fry it in half the butter and the other half I used coconut oil.

Stephen's Chocolate Chip Cookies
It is so hard to find the perfect cookie recipe. They always come out either too flat and fall apart or too cakey. These are PERFECT! Due to ingredients on hand I used all semisweet chocolate chips and chopped cashew nuts (same amounts as listed). My family and I love them, thank you so much for this great recipe!

Best Bread Machine Bread
I made this but I think I did something wrong. I only had coconut oil so I used that in place of the vegetable. I have instant dry yeast, maybe that is what went wrong but mine is quite short and didn't rise as high as I had hoped. It will make a good dinner bread but not a sandwich bread.
