Butter Flaky Pie Crust

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2010
This is my go-to recipe now. I've used it several times and it always turns out perfect! This last time I grated the butter per the advice of another user, and it worked much better. I think the time it took to grate the butter was less and easier than trying to get it to incorporate it otherwise. I needed a few extra tablespoons of water than what the recipe calls for. Also, I ran out of AP flour and had to substitute 1/4 cup of whole wheat and it was turned out great!! So flaky, rich and delicious!!

Mini Ham And Cheese Rolls

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2009
I served this at a party and it was such a hit! I didn't even include the minced onion or poppyseeds because I didn't have them. Instead I spread the dijon mustard on the top side of the buns and the butter right on top. Definitely take the tip on cutting all the buns in half instead of trying to assemble individual sandwiches.

Delicious outcome, easy to make, and calls for such simple ingredients. I was very pleased. After reading the reviews, I did decrease the salt by half. Will definitely make again!

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2009
The flavor was great and it was so easy. I wasn't sure about cooking the meatballs in the sauce but they turned out splendidly. I added fresh basil and oregano to the sauce and I think it helped a lot. I also used crushed tomatoes instead of whole. I never knew meatballs could be so delicious and easy!

Angel Food Cake III

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2009
The cake tastes great (I only put it in 1 cup of sugar and it was plenty sweet enough) but for some reason the middle section sunk in!! I don't know what went wrong. But, the taste is there and I would certainly consider making it again.
