About this Cook
I am 26, and have loved being in the kitchen since I was a little girl. I LOVE trying new recipes. I work full-time and go to school part-time in the evenings. I spend a lot of time studying, but I also enjoy running or doing anything outdoors. I can't wait to finish school, because I am hoping it will mean I can travel more often. I also recently rededicated my life to Jesus, so I love spending time learning about His life and will for my life. Sermons on the radio on my way to work in the morning are one of my favorite parts of my day.
My favorite things to cook
Healthy Foods, Comfort Foods, Mexican Food, Soups (I'm a soup nut!), and Slow-cooker recipes
My favorite family cooking traditions
Lasagna, Spaghetti, southern cooking
My cooking triumphs
Roasted Chicken, Peach Cobbler, Vegetable Beef Soup, Lentil Soup
My cooking tragedies
Food made with soy fake meat crumbles and pancakes, for some reason pancakes are just not my forte

Christmas Breakfast Sausage Casserole
You do NOT have to let this sit overnight. Another reviewer said "do not skip step of letting it sit overnight" and that their casserole came out soggy b/c they skipped this step. Well I toasted my bread as recipe calls for and the only change I made was increasing eggs to 6 b/c so many folks said they increased to 6. I cooked immediately after mixing ingredients and pouring in pan. It turned out great!!! Letting it sit overnight is definitely convenient, but don't let that stop you from making this if you are finding this recipe in the morning and that's not an option. :) Note: Next time I will probably try Maple Sausage. I used regular Mild on 1st try.

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs
DELICIOUS!!! I reduced the oil to 1/4 cup and used dried rosemary b/c that's what I had on hand. We don't have a grill b/c we are in an apartment w/ no access to outside. So I cooked in oven as suggested by other reviewers at 425 for 25 mins (cooked in the marinade sauce) and it turned out GREAT!! Served over rice as another reviewer did and it was wonderful w the "sauce" and chicken. Next time will add peppers and mushrooms, and onions.

Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich with Garlic Mayo
This recipe is AWESOME!!!! The only thing I changed was I used roast beef and chopped it before sauteeing. My b/f and I just prefer roast beef. Will be making these again soon! Thanks for sharing your recipe. :)
