I am a 25 year old single Mother of 2 wonderful kids Girl 3 1/2 years old an boy 5 years. I have been out of the cooking game since my split with my ex over a year ago trying to rebuild thinking of starting a baking business I keep getting told I have talent... personally I think I need to refine my skills more.

rice every time I cook it I burn it. update ...I finally cooked rice without burning it and it was good.

Mushroom Chicken Parmesan
My family loved it!! I used more then 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese and more mushrooms Because I love both I also used legs and thighs instead of boneless breasts. the sauce it made was wonderful. will definitely make again.

Angel Shrimp Pasta
I tried this last week and it was one of the best things I have ever cooked, my father a husband loved it and so did the kids...I couldn't find the cheese spread so I just bought a half pound of deli sliced jalapeno jack the land o lakes brand. it was amazing and it goes good with chicken a hamburger as well...I will definitely keep this a a weekly dinner.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes
I don't know if it's just me or what but every time I make pancakes they are flat and tasteless...so I thought I would try these...they were thicker then I normally have them but still flat..the flavor was ok I did cut out the salt as some suggested but there was still a bit of a salty flavor. I probably will try another recipe before I go back to this one.
