Honey Of An Oatmeal Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2009
What a WONDERFUL bread! The flavour is incredible and it rises really well. If your bread machine has variable size settings, do use the 1-1/2 pound setting as it rises up surprisingly high. I think this is my new favourite bread machine recipe.

Good 100% Whole Wheat Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2009
This was a tasty loaf, although mine fell a bit just as it was about to start the baking cycle. Just to mention that Whole Wheat Honey Bread on this site is also a pure w/wheat recipe and works incredibly well in the bread machine.

Cinnamon Cranraisin Bread

Such a delicious, aromatic loaf. I loved it! Unlike many other recipes, it actually does work in the bread machine. Thanks Tammy

A Baker's Secret for Bread Machines

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2009
This is pretty good, but I didn't get a sky-high loaf. I think DiggetyDog's Best Bread Machine Bread from this site is still the the best basic white bread recipe for a bread machine. I must add though, that bread machines seem to vary enormously and what works for one might not work for another.

Cracked Wheat Oat Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2009
Delicious, light bread with a crunchy crust. I used the bread machine to mix the dough, then baked it in the oven at 175C (350F) for 40 minutes.

Cottage Dill Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2008
I loved this bread. Without a doubt the lightest, fluffiest bread to come out of my bread machine. I think the cottage cheese is that "special something" that makes the bread so light and flavourful. Like other reviewers have mentioned, you need to reduce the yeast to 2tsp.

Buttery Spritz Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2008
These cookies are so delicious and tender, and work perfectly in a cookie press. It's not easy to find a dough recipe for a cookie press that doesn't require some kind of tweaking like adding flour or liquid or refrigerating to get it "just right" for the cookie press! This one is perfect, just as it is written - literally mix, press and bake!

Chocolate Babka

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2008
This bread is delicious! Makes a lovely change from the usual cinnamon buns. It makes two good-sized loaves, so make sure you're feeding a crowd, or do what I did and use the second loaf a day or two later to make a wonderfully fragrant chocolate bread pudding!

Steakhouse Wheat Bread for the Bread Machine

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2008
Didn't like this one. I needed to add quite a bit more flour to get the consistency right. It was too sweet and 'chocolatey' for our taste - almost like a bread you would serve as a sweet treat with tea, rather than one to have with lunch or dinner.

Perfect white bread! Made the dough in my bread machine and baked it in the oven. Turned out light, fluffy and golden. Also toasts very well.

Lemon Pudding Cake I

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2008
Delicious and very easy to make. Next time I'll add a little more lemon juice and zest. I think the extra lemon will cut the sweetness nicely.

Hearty Multigrain Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2008
Fabulous! I replaced 1T of the sugar with 1T molasses for extra flavour and colour. Loaf turned out golden and nutty and wonderful!

Oatmeal Bread III

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2008
It's hard to believe you can get such delicious bread that's wheat and dairy free. Stunning with hummus and beansprouts. The reason I only gave it 4 stars is that it dried out quite quickly. I think next time I'll make 2 mini loaves and freeze one, just to make it last better.

Delicious, and worked perfectly first time - not something that's easy to get right with fudge!

Chocolate Rum Balls I

Absolutely yummy! Many reviewers have said this before, but it can't be repeated enough... LET THEM MATURE for at least 2-3 days before eating. I took them to a party yesterday and they were a sensation.

Whole Wheat Honey Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2008
This is by far the best loaf of bread to come out of my bread machine. I used butter instead of shortening and only half the honey. It's so quick and simple to make - it will be my standard week-day recipe from now on. For those of you with variable loaf-size settings, I used the 500g or 1/2-pound setting and it was perfect. Thanks for the super recipe, Melissa!

High Flavor Bran Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2008
I slipped a bit with the molasses (about 1 Tbsp extra) and ended up with a golden loaf fragrant with molasses. I think I'll 'slip' again next time! I love that I can give my family a bread that's not only delicious, but chock full of wholesome goodness too. My kids don't like All Bran, but it disappears into the bread so they don't even know they're eating it!

Jo's Rosemary Bread

Delicious, fragrant bread. I've made it twice now, with excellent results and rave reviews from my family! I usually have a hard time thinking what to do with leftover bread, but with this recipe, there's never a crumb left.
