Praline Sweet Potatoes

Fantastic rich sweet potato recipe for a special occasion. We always have it on our Thanksgiving table and everyone loves it. I have been asked for the recipe for this on many occasions.

This is a great way to use zucchini. I did as other reviewers said and added fresh pressed garlic and italian. I also salted and let the zucchini drain in a collander. The kids LOVED it with marinara as a dipping sauce. Thank you for the great recipe!

Cream Cheese Chicken

Our family really enjoyed this recipe & I will make it again. My 8 year old just loved it & had several helpings! I seasoned the chicken & used pecans instead of walnuts. It was pretty easy to do but the chicken was a bit difficult to roll in the nuts. I think next time I will line the bottom with nuts before coating the chicken w/the brown sugar/dijon mixture. Then I will put the chicken in the pan and press the nuts on the tops/sides. I think it will be a bit less messy that way. Thanks for the delicious recipe!

Baked Beans I

I liked this recipe and thought it was good but modified it a bit. I added some cooked bacon and onions before baking in the oven. I also used a longer time in the oven (part of the time on a lower temp) because I think baked beans come out better when cooked that way. Anyway, my husband (who is not normally a big baked bean fan) really enjoyed them and so did our guests at the picnic--I will be making it again. Thanks for the recipe!

Beef Bacon Rolls

These were very easy to prepare even though the cooking time is long. The meat becomes tender and it has a nice flavor. They could be done as appetizers or as a main course. I will definitely make these again. They are great on their own but I think for variation they could be served with a red wine sauce, a blue cheese sauce or some other kind of sauce. I am going to try that next time.

Grilled Marinated Shrimp

This was not only fast to cook on the gril but really tasty! Everyone loved it. Even our 8 year old and her friend said it was delicious! I used garlic olive oil instead of garlic + olive oil and it was great. I also marinate chicken with the marinade and it's a big hit too. Thanks for the great recipe!
