Manicotti Alla Romana

Reviewed: May 1, 2013
I made this recipe last night almost exactly as written, incorporating the recommendations of others to substitute the ground beef with spicy Italian sausage. Unfortunately I forgot the parmesan cheese in the last step but this certainly didn't take away from the flavor. This was absolutely delicious! Making roué for the first time wasn't even that hard. The white sauce certainly makes this recipe unique and was worth the effort. Yummy! My boyfriend even asked to take some of the leftovers home.

Savory Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2013
This is now my go to recipe for deviled eggs. I make them exactly as the recipe calls for and they do not disappoint. I have also made them with fresh dill weed substituting in for the dry dill and they are also delicious!

Terrific Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2012
I made this tonight and I think it is just okay. I basically followed the recipe exactly, only leaving out the zuchinni. It must be the taco seasonong, but to me it tasted exactly like a taco. So I might as well of wrapped it in a tortilla and called it a taco. Don't get me wrong, it tasted good just not like how I think chili should taste.

Coconut Lentil Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2011
YUMMY, I have love in my tummy! Following other reviewers suggestions I used 4c up chicken stock instead of water and used a can of coconut milk instead of the soy milk. I also added 1 tbsp of salt. I used red curry paste instead of curry powder. Finally, I garnished the soup with fresh cilantro before eating. I love this recipe and will make it in the future.

Simple Garlic and Basil Pesto

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2008
Very good recipe. I ommitted the Brazillian nuts as I didn't have any and cut the olive oil a bit. Delicious!

Fettuccine with Sweet Pepper-Cayenne Sauce

Reviewed: May 23, 2008
I really enjoyed this recipe. I did make a couple of changes. I added some paprika and used penne noodles. I mixed up all the ingredients for the sauce then poured in over the pasta into a casserole dish. Topped with sun-dried tomatoes. I baked at 375 for 20 minutes. It was wonderful!
