No Bake Cookies III

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2011
Definitely the key to success for these cookies is boiling time, I have made this dozens of times and between 1 1/2 to 2 minutes works best. But a good easy recipe that everyone just loves to eat up.

Easy Focaccia

I can't even begin to describe how easy and tasty this bread was. I added minced fresh garlic and rosemary to the dough. This is a definite keeper.

Fried Rice Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2009
I have made this a few times, it is an excellent starting point but I have made a few changes that make it better I think. Cook the rice with beef broth instead of water, use frozen peas and carrots eliminate the boiling veggies step and scramble the egg separately.

It was a little sweet for my taste but overall pretty good. May try a little less sugar next time.

This was pretty good, super easy too. The second time I made it, I made a few changes, swapped out butter for the olive oil and used a little more lemon.

Baked Asparagus with Balsamic Butter Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2009
The sauce was really good, tried it as others as suggested swapping the amounts of balsamic and soy. I think this would be good on snow peas or snap peas also.

This was so good and so easy. I added sauteed a clove of garlic in with the onions and used monterrey jack cheese, that was what I had on hand. Fantastic!

Spaghetti Carbonara II

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2009
This was so good and so easy. As others had suggested, I mixed the egg and parm together before tossing in the noodles, I also added some cream, too die for. So rich and creamy, my whole family loved, and it was even better warmed up the next day.

Mexican Cornbread II

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2008
THe flavor was good, but it came out very VERY soft, you could not pick it up to eat it. I might make it again but cut back on some of the wet ingredients. I wish I would have red all the reviews before I made this, none of the reviews on the front page mentioned the consistency, now I know better.
