Split Pea and Ham Soup I

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2010
Pretty good. I cooked a ham bone all night in crockpot with onion and celery. Cooled and threw out veggies. Put water in pot with new onion and celery, bay leaf, pepper, dry mustard, pepper...little salt, 1 lb bag of green split peas. Add some cut up carrots and toward the end leftover cut up ham. really good flavor... cheap and easy soup to make. homemade bread to top it off! Great warm supper! thanks!

Carrot Souffle

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2009
Not bad. I didnt get the carrots real smooth, so it was a little chunky, but still good. My kids didnt like it. I did cut the sugar in half. It was sweet but not real sweet. Definetly had lots of carrot taste, but sweet carrots. My husband and I liked it. Different way for carrots.

Pork Chop and Cabbage Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2008
Very Good & Easy! I didn't shred the cabbage, I just cut it up. I cooked the onions in the leftovers from browning the pork chops, then added the water and soup. And poured over the cabbage and potatoes. Put pork chops on top and done! Easy! I covered the whole thing while baking. I also added salt and pepper, but thats to your own taste. Will make again!

Put sliced fresh tomatoes on top of sausage mixture. Baked for about 45 mins covered, add cheddar cheese cooked until melted. Super good. will make again next year when have fresh zucchini.
