Tiny Fudge Tarts

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2008
Yummy, with a flaky crust and chewy chocolate filling. I put some seedless raspberry jam in a plastic bag, cut a tiny hole in the corner, drizzled, and let it dry. Perfect for the fancy but not too time consuming recipe i was looking for!

Pastry Cream

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2009
I needed to make this non-dairy, so I used soy milk and margarine in place of the milk and butter. It still turned out smooth and creamy! I'm using it to fill a boston cream pie. Yummy!

Classic Bran Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2008
Very light and moist. I didn't have any wheat bran, so I used wheat germ instead. It worked! I also added more raisins and a handful of craisins. Thanks for a great recepie!

Zucchini Chocolate Orange Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2008
Thanks for a great recepie! This was my first time making a zuccini cake and I was very pleased! Very moist but not gloppy or dense, and didn't get stale the whole week that it lasted.

Glazed Meatloaf I

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2008
I've been making this for around a year-once I found this recipe I stopped trying any other meatloafs. It's so delicious! My husband, children, and friends who have eaten it all love it. I double the sauce so that we have plenty to slather on top, and sometimes use a mixture of ground beef and ground turkey. I use regular mustard instead of the powder, breadcrumbs instead of bread, and leave out the beef bullion. I also usually double the recipe (and then quadruple the glaze) so that I can put some in the freezer. It freezes well, just put some plastic wrap over the meatloaf, not just foil or the sauce eats through the foil. Thanks for a great recipe!

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2009
Wow! light and fluffy! Really easy! I even did half whole wheat, half regular flour and put no grease or butter on the bottom of my non stick pan and they came out wonderfully. No more looking for pancake recipes for me!

Blonde Brownies I

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2010
I had been looking for a blondie recipe for a long time. This one is perfect! It has a chewy texture and is studded with choc chips. ( I mix them in and sprinkle the nuts on top-then the nuts get a bit toasted). Thanks!

Blueberry Pound Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2011
Very delightful! I didn't have bluberries so I used chocolate chips (not that I need an excuse to use chocolate!) And I used oil instead of butter and sprayed the pan and then did the sugar. The batter was very thick so the choc chips didn't sink to the bottom of the bundt pan, and the crunchy crust that formed was very different and yummy. I've already had requests for the recipe!

Pizza Dough I

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2014
Who knew you could make pizza dough without needing to wait an hour for rising?! I followed the directions but subbed white whole wheat flour and added an extra 3/4 c water. It was very good and soo easy-I'm adding it to our frequent dinner rotation. All 4 kids plus husband approved! Thanks for the recipe!
