Korean BBQ Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2014
Delicious! We had this with Pork ribs-amazing taste. When I made it I didn't think it smelled too good and I was nervous about trying it, but it turned out to taste so good! This will be my go-to recipe for BBQ sauce from now on.

Megan's Granola

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2012
I've made this cereal so many times and I love it! Cook it at 300 degrees for only 20-25 minutes. It does come out gooey but will firm up. I once cooked it for half an hour and it was burned and not very tasty. I like my granola crunchy for cereal so I freeze it. I only make half as this recipe does make a ton. But again, it freezes really well too.

Emily's Famous Marshmallows

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2011
Very good. SO when I made them there was no "explosion" or "expansion" of the sugar/gelatin mixture. I was worried it wouldn't work but when I mixed it with the egg whites it worked great. At first it took a while in my kitchenaid mixer to get the egg white/sugar/gelatin mixture to form stiff peaks but it did "grow" in size. I got a doulble batch from this one recipe. Double meaning I made 2 8x8 pans with leftovers! My husband a three year old liked the marshmallow cream. I made one batch as the recipe called for and the other batch peppermint. It only took me 30 minutes. I will definently make again!

Aaron's Missouri Burger

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2011
Oh wow! Delicious! I haven't eaten the actual whole entire hamburger yet, but I've nibbled on a patty and man is it good! I followed the directions exactly but reduced the red pepper flakes (I have a 3 year old who will not eat spicy food). Nice flavors. This will be a keeper. Now to see how my hubby likes it...

Tubby's Pesto Panini

Reviewed: May 19, 2011
Really good. I used my frozen pesto with ranch dressing (I didn't have caesar) and shredded mozarella cheese all on focaccia bread from my bread machine. Yummo! Perfect summer dinner.

Louisiana Sweet Potato Pancakes

Reviewed: May 13, 2011
How do you cook these all the way through? I cooked these twice for so long and it was still gooey in the middle both times. I'm disappointed that I wasted two sweet potatoes. I would love to know why they didn't cook through. I'm trying another recipe.

Zippy Ground Beef Skillet

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2011
This was good, comfort food. My husband, three year old and I really liked it. It reminded me of hamburger helper. I also recommend draining the juice out of the canned tomatoes as it was a bit runny, but not too bad. I used red pepper and 1/2 cup green salsa verde in place of jalapenos since we didn't have any. Yummy flavor with the salsa. I think it needed it. We topped with 5 cheese italian blend to our taste at the end.

Chicken Tortilla Soup V

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2011
Man oh man! What a great soup! I was looking for a new way to use up my leftover rotisserie chicken and this soup is my new fav. leftover recipe. I followed the recipe and I must say it is excellent. I did add half salsa half green verde salsa for a little extra kick, although this soup certainly didn't need it. I just love green verde salsa. I did add sour cream and cheese to the soup which completed the meal (as suggested). I also added crushed tortilla chips on top of the soup as I like the "crunch" factor. I just added chips as I ate them in the soup.

Urban Legend Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2010
Unbelievable! Ouststanding! I halved the recipe because I only had half a mixed bag of semi-sweet and white chocolate chips. It made exactly 24 cookies. I was skeptical of grinding the oats, I thought, "where's the texture?" But it is so good! I will use half margarine and half butter next time to make a thicker cookie. The butter made them flat (but I like them that way) it's more for my husband and daughter who like "cakier" cookies. Oh, I also used almonds instead of walnuts. Perfect!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2010
I thought it tasted like a cinnabon! Very good. I flipped the rolls onto a foil-lned cookie sheet immediately after baking to keep the brown sugar filling on the rolls. Worked great. I'll be keeping this recipe around for sure!

Chicken Fried Steak I

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2010
I made this using 2 lbs of beef and found the flour and egg mixture was plenty. So if only using 1 lb, try halving the flour and egg mixture. I used vegetable oil in a castiron pan that was HOT to make the breading stick. Do not use olive oil as theis does not seem to work as well. Cast iron is best compared to non-stick or other pans to insure that the breading stays on the beef.

Baked Dijon Salmon

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2010
EXCELLENT! *Honey dijon salad dressing* also works well with this recipe as I discovered when I realized I didn't have any dijon mustard (I used private selection brand from safeway). I also used almonds in place of pecans. Wish I had pecans-I love them, but almonds worked really well too. loved the crunchiness of the breading. I plan on preparing my salmon this way every time. So flavorful!

Zucchini and Potato Bake

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2010
Oh-my-goodness!! What a tasty recipe! I cut the bread crumbs down to 1/3 cup and used a green pepper (it's what I had on hand). I also added chopped onion and a bit more garlic. I fried up some marinated, chopped chicken and turned this recipe into a main dish. I also added romano cheese as suggested from other reviewers. This could also double as a breakfast dish with some eggs from the leftovers, although there were no leftovers. My hubby and 2 year old daughter loved it to much!

Gingerbread Pancakes

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2010
Very good! I completely cut out the butter and used half the brown sugar and it was excellent. Even my sister liked it and she made it exactly the way the recipe called for so I know she didn't even miss the butter or extra sugar. I made the batter the night before so the seasonings had time to meld togther. I froze the leftovers and reheated in the toaster and it was even better. Plus the extra crispiness from the toasted helped the pancakes from being to soggy. The mixture of seasonings is wonderful. Thanks for posting this recipe.

Lemon Thyme Rice

Read the reviews and only added 1 TEASPOON of thyme. I was out of broth so i made some out of chicken bouillon cubes and water. I also added some sauted onion and garlic with the butter. It turned out great. We topped with parmesan cheese. So delicious!

Pecan Pie V

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2009
Was really sweet. Too sweet. My pie was also runny. Tried baking it for 15 minutes on 350 and then 50 minutes at 300 per other reviewers. Seemed to burn on top very quickly before cooking in the center.
