Savory Pork Chops

Very delish! Only 2 minor changes: I omitted the marmelade and added a little bit of flour to thicken the remaining sauce before I poured it over the chops. Was a big hit with my very picky man who usually prefers breaded pork chops. Definitely will make again!

Amanda's Stuffed Peppers

Definitely a great rendition of the original as I am not a fan of rice. I did make a couple of changes and cooked the ground beef, onions & garlic first to avoid the chance of it not being done (& helped reduce the fat). I then added 1/4 c. italian seasoned bread crumbs & omitted the egg & italian seasoning. I also added the sauce to ground beef when I mixed it w/ the remaining ingredients. Cut the cooking time to 45 mins and it turned out awesome.

Kicked Up Mac and Cheese

Finally mac & cheese with flavor. Did a couple of subs: used 1 T of dijon instead of dry mustard; used panko instead of regular bread crumbs; & did 1 C mexican 4-cheese mix & 1 C shredded cheddar jack. Turned out perfect!

Italian Breaded Pork Chops

The only change I did was to season the pork chops with s/p, parsley flakes and garlic powder before coating to give an extra depth of flavor. I also double-dipped mine for an extra thick coating. I recommend you do the same to enjoy all the flavors going on!

Cottage Meatloaf

Excellent recipe! The only changes I made were omitting the tomato juice, used chili sauce, Worcestershire & minced garlic (as previously suggested) and added a tad of hot sauce and Ray's BBQ sauce to make up for the tomato juice. I had 2 lbs of ground beef so I let it cook for 50 minutes and it came out perfect. Will definitely be replacing my old recipe for this one!

Different Chicken Cordon Bleu

Excellent recipe with only two minor changes. First I also spread dijon mustard on the chicken before adding the ham & cheese. Second, instead of stuffing mix, I heat panko breads crumbs in butter in a small saute pan and season with dijon mustard, fresh parsley, shredded swiss cheese and garlic powder. Do not add mixture right away. After 20 minutes of cooking the chicken, I then add the crumb mixture on top and continue to bake until finished. This is a staple in my house and make this meal a couple of times a month. I always make extras as it is great on a kaiser roll as a sandwich the next day.

Sunshine S'more Cupcakes

Great recipe and definitely use your imagination! After reading numerous reviews about the marshmallow icing, I cheated and bought the Marshmallow Brownie topping, popped it in the microwave and drizzled it on top. It hardened when it cooled and still tasted great. I also didn't put the kiss in the middle. Instead I used chocolate icing and made chocolate curls to add on top. Another idea for the graham cracker is to use 100 calorie Fudge Shoppe Grahams Right Bites, mini-graham crackers with chocolate on one side. One pouch pounded out is 2T to use inside the cupcake and then use them whole to put on top. Have fun with this recipe and see what works for you :)

Italian Hummus

Even though I changed some things on this recipe I'm giving it 5 stars even with the modifications! First, I used low-fat ricotta instead of cottage cheese Second, as one of the other reviews recommended, I only used 6 grape tomatoes. Consistency was perfect!

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Used a chuck roast as others suggested. I also coated the entire roast with tons of salt, pepper and garlic powder then seared in a smoking hot pan before adding to the crockpot. This gave a great crust and added to the depth of flavor. The meat was beyond tender and literally melted in our mouths.
