Barley Turkey Soup

I made a few changes..... I didn't have all the spices so I did a dash of this and a pinch of that to get it tasting right and I added a little corn. Turned out really good! FYI it needed a little more time to cook the barley all the way. Also added more broth after barley soaked alot of it up! One more thing I changed was I sauteed the onion, celery and carrots in oil and garlic before adding other ingerdients. I served with homemade cornbread and salad.

Chicken Noodle Casserole I

I cooked this last night per review/instructions of pam. It was soooooo delicious! I used 2 cans of cream of chicken soup (we don't like mushrooms) and added more noodles (about 2 cups). We also only used 3 chicken breasts. I added chopped up spinach and frozen peas. I also put the crumbs all over the top. My husband (who ALWAYS says EVERYTHING is just good) said he really liked this and loved the topping. Oh and I didn't have egg noddles so I used small shells! Seriously soooo good.

Beef and Parmesan Pasta

My family really liked this recipe! I did too! I did add some corn to it and that added a little sweetness and crunch. I will say that it could have used more of a sauce. It could have been that I let it boil/simmer too long (my zucchini just wouldn't cook). For lunch the next day I added some tomato soup and some extra cheese and it was amazing! My 8 month old daughter couldn't get enough of it either! So delicious!!!

Bubba's Jambalaya

I have never made Jambalaya before and this turned out great. I used a yellow bell pepper instead of green and left out chicken (none on hand). I also did a little less Cajun seasoning (I'm a lightweight when it comes to spice). I probably did about 1 1/2 tsp. It still had a little kick to it. My husband also really liked it and scraped his plate!!!! Freezing the leftovers to have again next week! So delicious!

Honey Fried Chicken

I loved making this! I am kind of a new cook and this recipe was very easy and super yummy! Instead of a whole chicken I just used a package of thigh fillets. It turned out really delicious. I also used the other suggestion of someone and made some honey mustard for dipping! Let's just say my boyfriend was very impressed with my cooking skills!
