Honey Lime Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2010
I baked the chicken instead of frying it like some of the other reviews suggested. Which was great, they came out crispy. The only thing I would say is after they're done let them sit for 15 to 20mins. My wings were very lime-y, which was fine for me but my husband thought it was a bit much. After they sat and cooled a little the lime flavor wasn't as strong. Still very good wings sticky, tangy, and sweet. Perfect for a party or a snack for football games.

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2010
I was very surprised at how much I liked these. My 6 year old (who was a little disgusted when he saw me using honey) devoured them. I made the recipe as directed and it was so sweet and sticky. Towards the end of cooking I flipped them around a few times in the pan a few times and spooned more of the sauce on them so it could really get baked in. So good

Bev's Orange Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2010
I'll gave this recipe three stars because it was orange chicken but I didn't really get the orange flavor. All I could really taste was the onion soup mix. It was good but not what I was expecting. Next time I think I'll use only a half a package of onion soup mix and use some orange zest just to give it more of an orange-y taste.

Annemarie's Lemon Bars

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2010
I'm only giving this recipe 3 stars because it may be a good recipe. I've tried making this 3 times and I'm not sure why my crust dosen't come out right. I tried looking at some of the other comments but it still came out too burnt or pasty and it stuck to the pan soooo bad. Baking is something new to me, so I'm blaming myself and not the recipe. I thought maybe it was too much butter. The lemon filling came out great, unfortunately I couldn't eat much of that because some of it tasted burndt

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2010
I've just started to try baking. These cookies are great. I followed the directions to a tee. Well with one difference, the dough seemed a little dry to me so I added maybe 2 tablespoons of milk. They came out wonderful!!

Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2010
I really loved this recipe as is. The only thing I did that was a little different was letting the hamburger steaks simmer in the gravy for almost an hour. I kept an eye on it and stirred it so it wouldn't stick. It was sooo tender. My 6 year-old loved it. It's definately a keeper.

Creamy Ranch Pork Chops and Rice

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2009
I really like this recipe. I seasoned the pork chops with a little salt and pepper before browning them. I also let them simmer for about an 1hr to 1 1/2 hr and the meat was so tender. I didn't make the ranch style rice because I thought that would be too much ranch flavor. It didn't matter though, because it made so much sauce I just poured that over my brown rice. Fantastic

Broccoli Chicken Casserole I

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2008
I made this recipe tonight for dinner it was great. I tweaked it just a bit. I took some of the others users advice by using one can of cream of mushroom and one can of cream of chicken. I mixed 1 cup of cheese in the soup mixture with 1/2 cup of milk. I baked the chicken instead boiling it. I seasoned it with course ground pepper, sea salt, and McCormicks Chicken seasoning. Instead of crackers, stuffing, or croutons to top the casserole I used French Fried Onions by Frenches. It was divine. Because the chicken was seasoned while cooking I didn't need to add salt or pepper to the end result. Try it with the French Fried Onions it really makes a difference in flavor.

Easy Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2008
My meatloaf usually sucks. Or has my husband says I don't make it with any love. Anyways it turned out really good. I used ground turkey instead of beef and 1% milk. I was little worried the mixture was too moist but it was very good.
