Banana Sour Cream Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2011
We are going to a kid friendly party tonight and I was trying to find things I had laying around so I could bake a dish for the party. I had everything for this, but only two getting mushy bananas. So I halved the recipe (2 eggs) and added nutmeg and cloves and sprinkled the tops of each muffin with a bit of the cinnamon and sugar mix. I also baked them in mini muffin tins. They have come out so good. Looks like its going to make about 50 mini muffins. I baked them for about 20min at 300. Perfection!

Always goes over great! Been making these for a couple years. I like to add some ranch dressing to the dough mixture to help it bind together. Its very yummy. I also put out ranch for dipping.

Chicken and Sun-Dried Tomato Bruschetta

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2010
Amazing recipe. Made for dinner one night, sandwich style, husband loved it! I did add a handful of chopped basil to this though, because to me basil IS bruschetta. Making tonight for engagement party, doubling recipe.

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2010
I made this frosting for store bought chocolate cupcakes ( I did add some extra stuff to the box stuff though). People raved about it. My husband actually swore these cupcakes were better than the $3 individual cupcakes we had bought from one of those posh cupcake stores days previous. I doubled the recipe (had to make 50 cupcakes for my sons baptism) and it was perfect! You know what too, refrigerate the leftover cupcakes and the next day it tasted even better!

I doubled the recipe and it went well. I would do this again for my family but would probably add some chicken or beef as well.

Honey Cornbread

Very good solid recipe. I made these as muffins instead of bread. It made about 2 dozen muffins which was perfect for my big group. My husband has continued to ask me to make these again.

Amazing recipe...my 3 year old toddler and anti veggie eating brother in law, gobbled these up! The only difference I did was double the recipe for my larger group. Everything went great.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2009
Very good recipe. My husband actually prefers this over our pulled pork sandwiches. The only differnce I did is I used the whole bottle of my Jack Daniel's BBQ sauce which was 16oz. I also after and hour and half of cooking just the chicken with some water on high, drained the fat from the dish, then continued cooking for another 6.5 hours on low with the then added sauce.

Lemon Yogurt Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2009
These were really good. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I slightly changed it up. My father dropped off 20 limes at my home, so I made Lime Yogurt Muffins instead. I used slightly over one cup of key lime pie yogurt, I grated one whole lime and I used the juice from three limes. This ended up giving me 16 muffins that were quickly devoured. Thanks for the recipe!!

Zucchini Cornbread Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2008
Very good recipe! Changes I made: I finely chopped my zucchini and had it lay out on paper towels for an hour, I added Rosemary, and also added 6 slices of chopped bacon on top of the casserole with the cheese topping. My husband loved this and was excited thinking it would be an amazing side dish on Thanksgiving.
