Banana Bread

I rated 4 stars for the original recipe. I add 1/2 c milk based upon other reviews and 1 tsp cinnamon for my own taste buds. Delicious! Texture is amazing, flavor is terrific.

Robbi's M&M Cookies

I used unsalted butter in place of the shortening due to habit. They were yummy! My family couldn't stop eating them. They didn't spread too much. The dough before and after cooking is glorious. Adding the candies after rolling is a perfect touch!

Raspberry Custard Kuchen

Ricotta Gnocchi

I followed the recipe closely, my only change was putting in half the pepper. The texture was not smooth, maybe as a result of using pre-shredded parm. Taste was so-so. Even with the smaller amount of pepper, my kids thought they were spicy. Won't make again.

Terrific flavor and texture! I only made changes to "healthify" - only 1/4 c white sugar instead of 1/2 c. 1/2 c white & 1/2+1/8 c wheat flours. Next time, I'll exchange some butter for applesauce. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Berry Crumb Bars

I have tried this recipe numerous times. I have halved this recipe simply by using only the egg white. I have also used frozen berries - just thaw completely in a colander to drain away excess fluid. I have also used butter instead of shortening - 1 c of butter for the 1 c of shortening. Wonderful recipe! Thank you for sharing!

Crispy Herb Baked Chicken

The flavor was so-so. My chicken, however was so moist that everything was so soft, not crispy at all. I even used a pan with a rack to keep the drippings away from my chicken. That texture of mush on my chicken was not appealing at all. The day after was better with some ranch on the side.

Yummy! Followed the ingredients exactly. I didn't have a cast iron skillet so I melted the butter in the bottom of a cake pan. Still wonderful!

Hot German Potato Salad III

My only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because there is definitely not enough sauce for all those potatoes. I only cooked 6 potatoes because of other reviews. I was only able to use 4 of them. The flavor is amazing. I will simply triple the sauce recipe in the future. Really terrific salad!
