I'm married with 3 children, 2 grown & married, the last one at home is 16 years old. I love to try out new recipes, but don't get get a chance to do the more involved recipes since I work full time. The weekends are my time to play with recipes, try some complicated ones, and make/freeze dinners for the work week. Appetizers!! I'm constantly searching appetizer recipes. Thanksgiving. My Mom used to literally stay up all night getting things done for our big T-Day dinner. One of my sisters & I have long since taken over the cooking for T-Day, but Mom started our tradition. We usually have my siblings, their kids & spouses, a few parents-in-law, parents-in-law siblings gather round the table every Thanksgiving. We're exhausted by the end of the day cooking for 20-26 people, but we love it. Baking bread. I'm not a baker (at all!) but I tried my hand at baking bread & have had great successes. Hah! Lots! My problem is I love to try new recipes BUT don't have time to "test" them before I serve to guests. Soooooo, some things work & some don't. I'm ok with that though, I usually make plenty of other stuff so no one goes away hungry!
