Tuna Melt Sandwiches

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2010
This was excellent. I added a little bacon for extra flavor and reduced the amount of onion based on other reviews. Also used 100% whole wheat bread and it made for a very filling lunch. Thanks!

Candy Coated Pecans

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2010
My family LOVES these. I am giving them 4 stars because as written they are very good, but if you add the extra cinnamon and sugar toward the end like a previous reviewer suggested, then they are worth 5 stars. I use them in cream cheese frosting on carrot cake and it's to die for!

Actually Delicious Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2010
I have made these burgers several times and have been impressed. As written, they are pretty good, but if you add a couple splashes of Worcestershire and a couple of soy sauce, I'd call them excellent. I grew up on a beef farm, so eating a turkey burger is a stretch for me. But I've tried several and these are the only ones worth making twice.

Coconut-Lime Cheesecake with Mango Coulis

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2010
I made this exactly as written and was extremely disappointed in this recipe. I agree with a previous reviewer...this crust was not good. The ginger flavor was overpowering and didn't mesh well with the flavors in the cheesecake. I was pleased with the coconut and lime flavors in the filling, but it was short and unattractive. It needed another block of cream cheese or something to add more height. I may try to make it again with a different crust and more filling. I served it at a dinner party and the guests were not impressed. Very disappointing.

Megan's Granola

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2008
My husband is CRAZY about this granola. He does not eat breakfast unless it's available. I followed the recipe except have used half applesauce/half oil and that works fine. Also added coconut which I personally feel takes it from 'good' to 'great'. Also read the review from the author who stated they changed the recipe and she uses 1 T. cinnamon and vanilla and it is MUCH better with the extra. Be careful not to overcook and you will love this one!

Cucumber Lemonade

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2008
This was fantastic...I needed some creative ways to use up extra cucumbers and this worked wonderfully. Everyone who was brave enough to try it ended up loving it. Tastes better after it's chilled a while and the flavors mix.
