Rhubarb Cooler

This recipe was quite good, though I agree with another reviewer that it was a tad too sweet. Perhaps this is because I made it using splenda and diet soda. Next time I will reduce the sugar by 1/2 cup. I also found it too salty for my taste and will omit the salt completely next time. You definitely need to serve this drink chilled. If anything, this is a great way to use up the surplus of rhubarb that most of us have!

Grandmother's Mustard Pickles

Way too salty, and the use of apple cider vinegar and pearl onions made it much more expensive to make than my usual recipe (which uses diced onions and white vinegar). Perhaps it would improve it to cut the salt back a bit or to rinse the veggies off after they've been soaked.
