I love, love, love to cook! I love feeding people! I especially love to bake but I'm not big on sweets so I bake for others, they don't complain ; P

Chicken In Basil Cream Sauce, Goulash (my family's take on it anyway), Pancakes, Mashed Potatoes, and as for baking, Pumpkin Rolls, cookies (sugar & snickerdoodle), Spice Cake Cupcakes, Apple Pie and Fruit Tarts!

My cooking triumphs
Thanksgiving Pumpkin Rolls! Super hard but they've turned out great! I also felt pretty triumphant when I had guests over for dinner, after everyone agreeing they'd love some cookies for desert they were shocked when I pulled out the flour and they realized I didn't have premade cookie dough.
My cooking tragedies
When I first started cooking I was making a seafood breakfast quiche from a recipe from Allrecipes and I did not realize that the pie crust it called for was different from the graham cracker pie crust you use in fruit pies.... It was super disgusting. Just think eggs with graham crackers bleh!

Peppered Shrimp Alfredo
My husband and I have made this recipe twice now, exactly as the recipe calls for once and with a whole lot more mushroom the second time. Super ├╝ber delicious. I made it with Veggie pasta, if you haven't tried veggie past, you should. I get it at WalMart : )

Soft Oatmeal Cookies
These cookies are AMAZEBALLS!!! I made them for my husband who fell asleep before the dough had chilled so I only made a couple cookies the first night for myself and I thought they were good but really dry. The next day the dough had dried out further so I added 1/4ish cups of oil (only made 1/2 the recipe) and that made all the difference. I didn't roll the dough into walnut sized balls or press them with a fork (if they look too perfect how will people know I slaved over them ; P). I just scooped big globs onto the pan and they turned out SO well!
