Rich and Creamy Tomato Basil Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2014
I thought I hated tomato soup until I tried this recipe. It's delicious!! So flavorful and beats that nasty Campbell's any day.

Chicken Florentine Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2011
Great easy dinner. I grilled my chicken before putting in the oven and the chicken had a great taste. Served over fettucine pasta. Next time I won't add so much cheese but the sause was delicious!!

Gourmet Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2010
Weird!! The ranch dressing as the sauce didn't do it for us. We did grill the chicken first which gave it an awesome flavor. We also determined we don't like Phillsbury crust. I suggest making your own.

Donut Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2010
They sounded really good so I decided to make them when I had company for the weekend. There was way to much spices in this recipe. The nutmeg was really overpowering and no one ate any. I will try and make this recipe again and adjust the spices.

Caramel Apples

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2010
I made this recipe this past weekend and I thought it was going to be a huge production. I couldn't believe how quick and easy it was to make these and how much better they taste than store bought ones. I put my apples in the freezer for about 15 min before I put the caramel on them and also let the caramel cool off to thicken for 3 min. I rolled mine in peanuts and they came out tasting great and looking professional! Just started a new yearly tradition.

Double-Cheese Eggs Benedict

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2010
Not our cup of tea. I think the recipe would be good if you like Eggs Benedict. This was our first time trying it and we don't care for poached eggs at all. I may try again and just scramble the eggs next time.

Pat's Baked Beans

Reviewed: May 24, 2010
Made this recipe last weekend for a party and they turned out great. Everyone loved them and it was super easy to make. I took someones suggestion and threw it all in a crockpot and turned it on for 6 hours. I used peppered bacon and it was a little spicy for me but all my guests kept raving about how good it was. This recipe is a keeper.

Stuffed Green Peppers I

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2010
I have never made stuffed peppers before and this recipe turned out really good. I did goof and add an extra 1/2 cup of rice because the first 1/2 cup didn't look like enough to me but I was wrong. You only need 1/2 cup rice total as the recipe calls for. I also added lots more cheese to the top because cheese is my favorite ingredient.

Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich with Garlic Mayo

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2010
Wasn't sure about the mayo when I first read the recipe. But OMG was I wrong. The garlic mayo made this sandwich GREAT!! I just used sliced roast beef from the deli and put provolone cheese on the sandwiches. They are an awesome quick dinner that has become a family favorite. I can't wait to make them again.

Mrs. Sigg's Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2010
Very good peanut butter cookie recipe. I made some with the criss-cross pattern in them and without and the ones without were so much better. They were so moist and soft. Will never make that pattern in the cookies again. It flattens them and makes them hard.

These were yummy. Made at Christmas time to put on my cookie tray. They are very rich so I broke them into small pieces. Everyone loved them. They taste like a heath bar.

Four Cheese Macaroni

Way to much cheese!!! We could only eat a small amount and ended up throwing most of it away. Next time I will cut the cheese in half and leave out the velvetta completly.

Sugar Coated Pecans

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2010
Everyone raved about these all holiday season. I made 6lbs of pecans this year. I gave out the recipe to so many people. My brother told me that's all he wanted for Christmas so I made him a whole pound. Can't mess them up and they taste so great.

Santa's Favorite Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2010
Frosting was excellent, cake was blah. I will make this frosting again for other cakes. I will never make the cake recipe again. The box by it's self would have been better. The frosting would be delish on a devils food cake.

My Amish Friend's Caramel Corn

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2010
Mine didn't turn out as well as I hoped. But the caramel tasted really good so I will have to make it again. There was way to much popcorn that the caramel couldn't coat the whole kernal. Not even half of it. We like our caramel corn fully coated. So I will try again and make less popcorn this time.

Slow Cooker Sausage with Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2010
Made recipe exactly as written. I will have to add another green pepper next time. It made the house smell so good all afternoon. Easy and quick dinner. I served on toasted french bread rolls with melted mozzarella. Left overs were thrown on some pasta the next day. 2 dinners in one!!
