Chicken Tikka Masala

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2010
I tried this mostly without changes and I thought it tasted fantastic. I cut out most of the salt and added some garam masala to the sauce - I also added some cubed tomatoes and onions to the sauce. Overall it was tasty, however I wasn't a big fan of the cinnamon. Next time I will use some other spices in place of the cumin/cinnamon/cayenne spices (coriander powder, chili powder, fenugreek, ging-garlic paste..) & use fresh tomatoes which I think will just enhance the delicious flavor of this :) Thanks!

Mom's Country Gravy

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2009
It was very simple to make, but this had almost no flavor at all. I could taste hints of pepper, but altogether it was very, very bland. Next time I might mix it with some sausage and drippings to give it more flavor. Or just stick with my store bought gravy.

Very tasty and simple! A real treat, next time I will add a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side. Thanks for sharing :)

Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2009
I just love this recipe. I've been making it for a year now and its just my go to recipe for any kind of alfredo. I usually make as is, but sometimes I like to marinade my chicken in buttermilk for some extra flavor. Definitely yummy, thanks so much for sharing.

YUM! Puppy chow is so addicting. Love it. I like to add a bit of vanilla extract, I think it goes well with the flavor. Thank you for sharing!

Haitian French Toast

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2009
This is the only french toast I will ever make. Sweet bread with a subtle tangy orange flavor is enough to satisfy me any morning. When I make this for my fiance he goes crazy, its definitely a keeper! Thank you for sharing :)

Crispy Orange Beef

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2009
This was okay, but I don't think I could handle the overwhelming flavor of orange. Kind of reminded me of pine sol, or some other cleaning product. Definitely not my cup of tea.

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2009
Just lovely! I made as is with a side of potatoes and was very satisfied, this was just what I was looking for to enhance a plain pork chop! I couldn't find golden mushroom, but if I do I will definitely give it a try. I love the sauce as is though. Thanks for sharing :)

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2009
This chili was tasty, but I wasn't all that impressed, especially considering the overwhelmingly positive response this recipe has. I did love the spiciness though. Good recipe, but I don't think this chili was for me. *shrug*

Penne with Spicy Vodka Tomato Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2009
Tastyyy!! I used to purchase store bought vodka sauce and just add sausage to it, but the other day I caved and made it this way. Very good, I couldn't stop tasting the sauce! The only thing I changed was I used hot italian sausage, as I like mine very spicy. It came together beautifully, and quickly too. A simple dish that I will be making very often :) Thanks for sharing!

Szechwan Shrimp

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2009
This was a magnificent recipe for how easy it was to make. Took me only 20 minutes, and it was very delicious. I added some broccoli in for good measure and it was awesome! I definitely suggest doubling, or tripling the sauce, as I tripled mine and it was the perfect amount with our added veggies. It is also rather spicy, which I love, but I cannot imagine my family being able to eat it, so I would definitely cut back on the red pepper if you can't handle spicy food. I would also suggest using raw shrimp, as others have stated, as it tastes much better. I used precooked shrimp and it was a little too chewy. Still magnificent though, thanks for this wonderful recipe!!

Buttermilk Chocolate Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2009
This is a great, simple recipe. I'm not very fond of baking but this was a pleasant surprise. Next time I might try adding chocolate chips, or apple sauce, as other reviewers have stated. My only complaint was the consistency of the honey butter, it didn't mix together very well for me at all, but still tasted good with the bread anyway. Thanks for this recipe, it will definitely be something to share with my family on the holidays!

Asian Fire Meat

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2008
This was a very simple and tasty recipe that I enjoyed making. The flavors all came together nicely and the spice was great. However, it was -very- salty, and I would recommend using a low sodium soy in place of regular. Otherwise, great recipe. Thanks!

Snickerdoodles I

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2008
I am, for a lack of a better word, a complete noob at baking. I usually mess something up somehow, and feel like blaming the recipes for my mistakes. BUT - this time I followed your recipe to every word, and I just made the most perfect cookies ever. My family was astounded that I could bake such a thing. Thank you for sharing this lovely recipe! :)
