Slow Cooked Apple Peach Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2009
i loved this. i used very little cinnamon because of other reviews. it was very good, also i think this might be ideal baby-food. i was worried at the beginning, because there was no liquid, but after a few hours there was a lot, it came out of the fruit, so i'm happy i didn't add any!

Sweet and Nutty Moroccan Couscous

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2010
i didn't even add the almonds yet (i am serving it tonite, don't want them soggy) and it is delish! pretty sweet too. you can even eat it without the cinnamon. i made it with whole-wheat couscous. and i used oil instead of butter. thank you for a great recipe!

Chocolate Spoons

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2011
i used baking chocolate, because i feel that chocolate-chips don't melt well. i am now in middle of making them but i find that the back of the spoon looks a bit messed up. maybe i'll try what someone said here and do the back first... but they look nice in their cellophane wrapper!

Peanut Butter Noodles

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2010
the color and texture weren't that good, but the taste is almost like my mother's! i can't figure out her recipe, cuz she doesn't believe in telling me what she puts in, she shows me and it's confusing! i didn't use ginger, and i used chili sauce instead of paste. very liquidy. but it tasted great!

Meatiest Vegetarian Chili From Your Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2009
I loved this! I did change a bit, I used white beans and didn't drain, and also added some water, I like stuff soupy. I didn't have tofu, but I like to add potatoes instead, they really taste good after 8 hours. I have made this many times, my husband and I love having it on a cold day!!

Frozen Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Balls

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2011
i thought it was a cute idea, but my family didn't agree... i made the dough-balls, then i coated half of them in chocolate. my hubby said they didn't taste good so i flattened and baked them. i used margarine and you really tasted it. will not make this again...

All-Day Apple Butter

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2009
wow this stuff is good! i made 40 servings, because that's how many apples i had. according to that recipe i had to add 2.5 cups sugar, i added less than 1, half brown half white. it's still pretty sweet though! i don't really have a sweet tooth... i didn't follow the recipe exactly, i put it in at 8.00 in the evening and was going out, so i put it on low... left it on all night, turned it off around 5.20 in the morning. i didn't see that you had to cook it uncovered. oh well, next time (there will surely be a next time!)...

Mexican Sunset Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2009
loved this! used cottage cheese instead of sour cream, and used homemade salsa and self-mixed taco seasoning from this site. the salsa was mild, did not contain hot peppers, and the taco stuff also wasn't made too hot, but the bread did have a zing to it! even though i had to make some of the ingredients myself it was totally worth it! will make this again tonight!

Dutch Potatoes

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2009
my father makes "hutspot" - that's really dutch! he cooks the onion together with the potatoes and carrots, and just adds black pepper and salt. we eat it with meatballs or hamburgers, and pour gravy over it. yum! my hubby didn't like it that way, maybe i'll do it your way, although without sourcream and chives...

Simple Mexican Rice

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2009
this was delicious! i accidentally added a bit too much of the chicken boullion (it fell out of the bag as i was pouring), but except for that it was great! i didn't measure out the spices, just did it by guessing, and i used mostly sweet paprika, otherwise it's too spicy... but it was good!
