Easy Shrimp Lo Mein

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2014
Very delicious! It looks a little dry at first, but that sauce packs a lot of punch! I thought I would need extra sauce, but I am so glad I didn't try to change it before tasting it! So good!

Peanut Butter Brownie Bites

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2013
Yummy! Made it last night for some friends and they loved it! Didn't use the chocolate glaze, and it made the peanut-butter layer a little crunchy on top which was delicious! Good second-day, too.

Chocolate Mint Mayonnaise Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2012
Wow, this is a really great base recipe for any chocolate cake. I did add a tsp of peppermint extract to the batter and instead of layering the thin mints, I crushed them and put them into the batter, but that's just a matter of taste and ease (I was making cupcakes, per the special request of a friend). Super-moist and delicious; thanks for a great recipe!

Grandma's Doughnuts

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2012
Delicious! I would lower the temperature to 325-350, because mine were overdone on the outside and underdone inside. If you don't cut a hole in the doughnuts, try cutting the biscuit dough in half to reduce the thickness (came out PERFECT every time that way).

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2011
Wow, these were very easy and DELICIOUS! I read in a lot of other reviews that the dough was too soft to work with, but I didn't have any problems with it. I didn't have enough margarine in my house, so I went ahead and subbed in shortening for the margarine and they were awesome. Thanks for a repeat recipe!

Pie Crust IV

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2011
This pie crust was exceptionally easy to work with. The only thing I would change is to just add a little bit more salt for my taste, but that's just me.

Merenges

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2011
I discovered this recipe about a month ago, and these are always in demand! I make them with my stand mixer and whip them until they're super-stiff, then put them through a cookie press to make them cute. For other variations on flavor, you can omit the lemon zest and substitute part of the sugar with one 3 oz packet of Jello mix. It adds a fun pop of color and flavor, but my friends and husband like these just as much plain.

RWOP Finalist: Roasted Tomato and Pepper Soup with Pesto Cream Cheese

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2011
This was good, but I'd definitely suggest cooking the bacon separately, and roasting the peppers in halves so that you can easily peel the skin off for a more intense roasty flavor and better texture.
