Pumpkin Protein Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2011
The kids and I loved this recipe. Although we changed it abit to make it stretch a bit more and to adjust it to what we had on hand. I used 1.5 c oats, 1.5c regular flour, 1/4 c agave nectare, 3 tsp cinnamon, 1tsp vanilla, 2 small eggs (with yolk), 1 cup pumpkin. I didn't add any water, soy flour, splenda or flax seed. I did add craisins to half the batch and that turned out delicious! I love recipes that are easy to adjust! thanks!

We love this soup and eat it often in the fall! I add my own dried apple chips that I dust with cinnamon and sugar before I dry them. YUMM

German Apple Cake II

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2009
A great cake - I made the recipe 3 times so far as it is written and it turned out great. I did have to watch the cooking time and I had to go the full time to get the middle done.

Candy Coated Pecans

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2009
These came out okay - I might have whipped the egg too much becuase they came out with a coating that was the texture of meringue.

Chile Pork

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2009
LOVE IT!! I followed the directions exactly except I didn't have any fresh garlic so I substituted 2 tsp garlic powder. The garlic did not overpower the other spices. I used country style short ribs instead of the pork tenderloin and it was so moist and delicious. Definately a keeper! Thanks!

Black Bean and Corn Salad II

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2009
I loved this dip/salad. I've made it 3 times in the last 3 weeks. I omitted the onions and peppers but added fresh mango and it tasted so fresh and healthy...Perfect for summer! I even made it camping and everyone on our annual family campout raved about the dip and wanted the recipe. Thanks!

Simple Garlic and Basil Pesto

Reviewed: May 17, 2009
Loved this pesto! I used pecans instead of walnuts and didn't have quite enough cheese but it turned out great! A great way to use up extra basil from the garden. I tossed some with Whole wheat penne and froze the rest in an icecube tray for a later use! YUMMY

Aloha Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2008
Pretty good. I didn't read the pineapple sizes correctly and added 2 20-ounce cans of pineapple. It still turned out good. I did end up having to add more teriyaki and some soy sauce to increase the liquid as well as doubling the pineapple juice.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2008
I love this cookie recipe. I have made it quite few times and it always turns out great! I split the recipe and use 1 packet of butterscotch pudding and for the other half I use chocolate fudge pudding. Then I put only put the walnuts in half of each batch. It makes 4 different kinds of cookies from 1 recipe.
