Excellent! I made it just as prescribed by MomSavedbyGrace. Easy to make, and fantastic. I will make this often.

Roasted Green Beans

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2014
I followed the recipe precisely except I roasted the beans a few minutes longer, because they weren't turning brown at all. The beans came out stringy and dough. I won't make these again.

English Muffin Breakfast Strata

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2014
This was easy and delicious. We followed the recipe except we held the chiles out of the egg mixture and sprinkled them on half of the casserole later leaving the other half without chiles, for the kids. We found it took almost an hour to bake through, but it was worth the wait! Will definitely make again.

The Best Fresh Tomato Salsa

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2013
Excellent recipe! I followed the recipe on the jalepeno and it was perfect, which is to say a little spicy...medium+. I also followed the advice of some reviewers and added a little garlic...one clove for a 1.5x batch of salsa. That was just enough that you could barely smell and taste it - again just right in my book. I went light on the onion and used half red onion and half green onions. We put half in the food processor and definitely liked it better than the chunky-style. Will definitely make it again!

Summer Fresh Pasta with Tomatoes and Prosciutto

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2013
Excellent recipe. I went a little light on the garlic and added some grilled asparagus. I also crisped the prosciutto a little before I added it, as another reviewer suggested. I will definitely make this again.

Chocolate Cappuccino Cheesecake

This is fantastic. People rave about it. Cook exactly per the recipe but bake with a steam bath to prevent it from cracking.

Pork Chops Stuffed with Smoked Gouda and Bacon

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2012
I've made these several times and they're always excellent, but tonight I made them with fresh rosemary instead of parsley and they were even better. Great recipe and not at all difficult. Goes well with gourmet mushroom risotto, by the way.

Dessert Pizza

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2012
Just made this with the kids. We made and decorated individual cookies. We used 8 oz. whipped topping with 6 oz. whipped cream cheese + 1 tsp sugar for the frosting...good consistency and great flavor. Topped with thin sliced fresh peaches, strawberries, kiwi, blueberries. Will make this again soon, especially because it's a recipe that's easy and fun for the kids to help with.

Buttermilk Fried Chicken with Gravy

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2012
Very good recipe. I triple-dredged in flour mixture (egg baths in between) as suggested by a fellow reviewer, and that made for a thick, crispy breading. I did not cover the chicken while cooking. I used thin sliced chicken breasts and they came out moist and juicy. I also tried the suggestion of adding some hot sauce to the buttermilk while marinading but the 1/2-1 tsp I used was not enough to impart any hot sauce flavor to the chicken. Will definitely make again.

Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2011
This is an excellent side dish. I fry the bacon strips to almost crispy and then wrap around the green beans. that way the bacon is nice and done when the green beans come out of the oven. Always gets compliments and there are never leftovers.

Cornmeal Pie

Reviewed: May 15, 2011
I made this for my family and we think this recipe merits 3 or 4 stars. It's pretty good - and easy to make - but not great. I found that it needed 60 minutes of total bake time vs. the 40-50 minutes recommended in the recipe. I served the pie with Blueberries and Cool Whip as suggested by another reviewer, and that worked well.
