Blue Moon Salad

I made this salad over the 4th of july weekend and after reading the other reviews I also left out the blue cheese. Instead I added walnuts and used apple cidar vinegar, mixed in a few tablespoons of honey and whisked in the olive oil. My guests loved how refreshing and tasty it was.

Cheese and Sausage Polenta

I tried this recipe tonight and it turned out great. I did add romano cheese to the polenta and extra virgin olive oil, garlic powder, salt and pepper while it was on the stove. I didn't bake it, I browned sausage in a frying pan and added a jar of meat sauce over it, and simmered while "jazzing up" the polenta with the spices mentioned above, after it was done cooking...then just spooned the polenta into a bowl and toppped it with the sausage and sauce, sprinkled grated romano and fresh parsley and served it to my husband. He loved it!! He said it was AS GOOD AS THE POLENTA WE GET AT THE ITALIAN FESTIVALS IN THE SUMMERTIME. Definately saved this one in the recipe box.

Peppermint Bark

Just made this & it looks great! Was super easy & taste fantastic. I didn't use a double boiler, just a sauce pan & low heat, (gas stove) & stirred it constantly!! Also used dark chocolate chips & then white chocolate chips. Giving it as gifts for Christmas, Thanks Allrecipes!-Marla

Cranberry Sauce I

I have made this cranberry sauce for quite a few years now. It turns out great Everytime. Once it has cooled, I add crushed pineapple, mandarin oranges, crushed walnuts & a handful of flaked coconut. My family loves it & any leftover goes great on low-fat vanilla yogurt for breakfast.

Cream of Mushroom Soup I

This was a great recipe.Took the advice of some other reviews & saute'd portabello/button mushrooms & onion/3 garlic cloves, in 1tbsp butter & olive oil first. then added the broth and followed rest of recipe as it's written. Definately will make this again!!
