Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough + Cupcake = The BEST Cupcake. Ever.

I've been meaning to make these for a while and finally got an excuse to for my son's birthday! I just bought cookie dough (the kind ready to bake in 24 pieces) and that worked just fine! I didn't think the cupcakes were dry at ALL... very yummy! Kids were very interested in the surprise inside their cupcakes! FUN idea!

Banana Nut Bread Baked in a Jar

Everyone I gave this to said it was YUMMY... this year I couldn't find any jars in time to make it for Christmas gifts, but I decided I woulld try t just making it in loaf pans (so I could actually taste it myself) and it was still YUMMY... very moist!

Cake Balls

Oh my goodness.... where have these been all my life!! I made FOUR batches of these over the holidays and EVERY person that had one asked me for the recipe! I'm even going to dye white chocolate grey and use cakeball as ROCKS for my son's dinosaur birthday cake. I would definitely recommend using melting chocolate (as opposed to choc chips) because it just seemed to have a better consistency and was easier to dip. I have not made a combination of cake flavor with icing flavor that wasn't good! YUMMMMMMMMMYYYYYY!!!

Easy Cheese Ball II

I would definitely suggest cutting the recipe in half (or at least only serving half at a time) because it is a BIG cheeseball!! It was VERY yummy.... my brother even asked to take what little was left home with him on Thanksgiving! Have tried it with bacon added, and that makes it extra yummy!!!

Pumpkin Pancakes

Awesome recipe (made it from scratch and using someone's suggestion that involved using pancake mix)... my son requests is almost every morning! I just make a bunch of batter, then pour whatever I don't use that morning in a gallon baggie, put it in the fridge, and cut the corner off to pour pancakes the next morning!

Soft Christmas Cookies

I have tried many different sugar cookie recipes, and this is by far the best one I have ever made! The dough was VERY easy to work with (no sticking to the rolling pin or to the counter) and the cookies held their shape wonderfully! And to top it off, the cookies tasted great too! I'm glad I found this recipe in time for the holidays!

Whipped Butternut Squash

I didn't have any sour cream, so I was forced to omit that. I also added cinnamon and pumpkin spice. I loved it, but more importantly, my 21-month-old who has decided to refuse ALL vegetables lately also loved it! Will be making this again soon (and will probably keep a steady supply ready to go in the fridge!).

Summer Chicken Bake

As other reviews had suggested, I poured about 7 ounces of chicken broth over the top of the dish before baking it. I also added a little bit of fresh dill.... tasted GREAT (with a little bit of salt, too). To help make sure the potatoes and chicken were fully cooked, I sliced the potatoes thinly AND sliced my chicken breast halves in half. I admit that after I cooked the chicken at 350 for 45 minutes, I still had to increase the temp to 400 for an additional 30 minutes! I have plenty of squash in my garden, and I'm always looking for different recipes to use them in so they don't go to waste! It seemed to be a hit with the hubby and kids. I'll be making this again, experimenting with different herbs and spices!

Baked Potato Soup

YUMMMMMMMMMMY!!!!! Very easy to make, and enjoyed by all ages (including my 3-year-old). The only minor change I made was omitting the hot sauce. I will definitely be making this again soon!

Sugar Cookies

Very easy to make! Contrary to fellow reviewers, I thought these worked very well for rolled cookies. I actually made the dough a day ahead of time and refrigerated it until I was ready to use it. As long as it was cold, it worked well! My 3-year-old and his friend loved making heart-shaped cookies for Valentine's Day!
