I thought it was very good, as I had never cooked kale before. I added some sugar, more vinegar and cooked at least 10 minutes or longer. I am sorry that I never cooked it before I lost my husband, as he would have loved it. Thanks for the recipe.

Buttermilk Biscuits

These are the best biscuits I have ever made, and I have been cooking at least 55 years. I did use lard in them, and left them pretty thick when I cut them. Only got about 6 or 7, but that was enough for the two of us.

Kentucky Butter Cake

Better Than Sex Cake III

My recipe is very similar, except that when I cook the pineapple, I only use 1/4 c. sugar and 2 T. cornstarch to thicken it. I use 2 pkg. vanilla instant pudding, 3 c. milk and 1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese. I also do not use bananas or coconut. When I used to take this to work for a retirement party, it was the first one to be gone. The men would be mad at me if I didn't make it.

Amish White Bread

This is the best and easiest bread recipe I have ever made. My family loves the sweetness of the bread. I always make a loaf for my granddaughter's birthday as she would rather eat the bread than cake!
