Cranberry Gelatin Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2003
I made this for a Ladies Valentine Luncheon (16 guests). I changed the recipe a little to use what I had available. But everyone loved it! Here's what I changed: I used strawberry gelatin rather than cherry, and I used fresh sliced strawberries rather than the pitted cherries. Otherwise I followed the recipe and scaled to make 24 servings.

Becky's Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2003
I made this chicken salad the night before for a ladies luncheon (16 guests). Everyone raved about it and asked for the recipe. Here's what I did a little differently than the recipe called for: 1) I used Miracle Whip rather than Mayonnaise, 2) I added lemon juice for a zing, 3) I added some Spinach & Herb dry seasoning mix from Tastefully Simple. It was excellent!

French Green Beans

These were very good. Could have used a little salt - but it wasn't a problem to let people add their own salt. Great dish especially for feeding a crowd.

Oven Baked Herb Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2002
This was excellent!! We made it for a Christmas Dinner for 16 ppl. Everyone commented that this was the best chicken they'd ever had. We added some freshly grated romano cheese to the "paste" mixture that was spread over the chicken.

Chocolate Praline Layer Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2002
Great tasting cake and it looks good too! However, I would only plan for a maximum of 16 servings (especially if you use two 8" pans).
