BBQ Country Style Ribs

used Bottled "Sweet Baby Rays /w brown sugar" It was a little too rich, I baked it first to get some off the fat off and then put in the crock pot (with the sauce ) for rest of the day, cant remember how long, Easy and good . If I were going to be home I would have fixed whole time in oven. I could have added a little water since baby ray is really rich.

Oven Brown Rice

I like the idea of baking the brown rice, but this turned out too salty. Next time I will use water and then see what it needs, I really want it for stir fry, If I were serving as a just a side dish then I would try this again with much less sodium. Just need to tweek this a bit. Its a good recipe , just needs a few changes

Roasted Garlic Lemon Broccoli

very good, but you might try using a large freezer bag to put the brocoli, oil , salt, ect. shake in bag till completly mixed then put on baking sheet, its easier, save a bowl also , dont forget the lemon juice

Mock Filets

It tasted like a dry meat loaf, it wasnt bad, but I do think the sauce helps , I did not want to waste bacon on this since I do not like bacon wrapped around a good filet. I just sliced it cold the next day and made a meatloaf sandwich, now that was good! I might make again since my sig other like it.

Sandy's Casserole

I think it needed the macaroni cooked slightly as one reviewer said. I did not cook it first and mine turned out kind of firm, not soft as it should be and I even covered it in the oven. This reminded me of a bad tuna casserole! , even though it had canned chicken in it. needless to say , I will not fix again

Beef Stew VI

Really one of the best stews I have ever made. I used Beef Soup Base instead of Bouillon, so I needed a bit of salt and I used sea salt. I did flour and season in a ziplock bag and then browned in a stainless steel pan and used wine to deglaze. I too, added catsup, worcestershire , but I also added a bay leaf. Taste it and figure out what it needs, it was great! oh yes prep took me longer than 20min. cause I cut my own stew meat from a chuck roast so I could be sure and not have too much fat.

Wonderful Banana Cake

Very easy to put together, I preheated the oven and baked for approx. 40min, tested with a toothpick that came out clean. It was very moist and we did not want to frost it with rich icing. So I used whipped cream from a spray can on each piece. I put it in the refrigerator. The banana pudding with cool whip sounds yummy for creamy icing that I know I have got to try:):)

Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

I have fixed this for 20 or more years in a slow cooker, My first time recipe came from Rival Slow Cooker booklet, all you did was season and put some butter or margarine in and you get an easy dinner, all you need is some mashed potatoes and something green. Chicken that falls off the bone. Use left overs for lunch or dinner tomorrow

Mondi's Super Simple Chicken

I used skinless chicken breast, next time I may brown the chicken first, I was out of basil and used what I had on hand, plus fresh garlic, I squeezed fresh lemon juice on the chicken before I seasoned it . Very good

Gravy Baked Pork Chops

This was so easy,only thing different I did was to add a pkg. of Pork Gravy( the little pkg of gravy makers in the soup isle. I have honestly been making this for years in my Crock Pot. Its was a Rival Crock Pot Recipe, Really Good, you can change it to your taste, Yum always good!

Italian-Style Round Steak

Good, but I will use Cube Steak the next time, I think I would like the tenderize testure better then the round steak, flavor was savory and I used angel hair pasta. I cut the round steak into very slender strips, but i wish it were more tender, maybe it was just a tough piece of meat

Cake Mix Cookies VI

I used a mixed in some crunchy peanut butter I wanted to use up. The other thing that I did was to criss cross them with a fork so they would be more flat , that worked well ..... other wise they raise more like a little cake cookie

Chicken Scampi II

I used Chicken Tenders and I cut up a small tomato and fixed brocoli in microwave, added to recipe before it was finished cooking, tasted it and added more lemon juice. Let simmer some more and served on top of Angle Hair pasta , It was really good!!

French Dip Sandwiches

Really good,Fixed in the pressure cooker, took about 1 hour,I used some stew meat that I had in the freezer. 2lbs of meat, 1can of beef broth,pkg. onion soup plus the rest of the ingredients minus rosemary. It was great with mayo and horseradish on the bun. plus the juice for dipping was rich and tasty
