Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2012
I did not like this. Way too much onion. Way too bland. Did I say way too much onion? Thumbs down!

Garbanzo Bean Chocolate Cake (Gluten Free!)

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2010
We are new to gluten free living and this was a nice recipe to use because it doesn't call for specialty flours and other ingredients. Since it had all those chocolate chips and was only a 9" pan, I reduced the sugar to 1/4 cup and only used 3 eggs. To be truly gluten free DO NOT DUST PAN WITH FLOUR!! Thank you for sharing this recipe

Barbequed Pineapple

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2009
We were all excited about this, but it didn't turn out that great. We took it to a pot luck-type event, and no one complimented. Maybe the pineapple wasn't that sweet, and maybe it's cuz my husband grilled it (and not me) but it certainly did not meet our expectations.

Banana Cake VI

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2008
I liked the cake. It is a heavy cake, but not as heavy as bread. I used 2 cups banana - it has to be ripe or over-ripe banana to achieve the flavor. Doubled the vanilla I baked it at 275 for 1-1/2 hours. I skipped the part about putting it in the freezer (not necessary!) We used 1/2 recipe for the frosting and topped with pecans that were caramelized in butter and brown sugar and a little cinnamon. Be careful with this one - a moment on the lip, a lifetime on the hip. It is a special occasion cake.

Egg Drop Soup II

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2008
Delicious recipe - I used the sesame oil as well. I put the egg in after the cornstarch. Definitely a keeper. A soothing comfort food and great appetizer.

Marinated Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2008
I tried this recipe with 1/2 the cinnamon, fresh garlic and onion on a large pork tenderloin (AllwaysTender brand). I doubled the recipe and thickened the marinade. It was a big hit. There was alot of leftover sauce. I added thyme and julienne carrots and used it to cook some chicken. Double yum!
