Andy's Spicy Green Chile Pork

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2010
This is SO good. We ate it with tortillas, black beans, and fresh salsa. The only thing I changed was the peppers. I used a fresh jalapeno because it's what I had on hand. I cut it in half and seeded it. It gave it just enough kick but was not at all hot. Next time I might add a few more. Will make this again for sure. Thanks for sharing.

Potica

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2010
A tip for potica makers. Roll your dough on a floured cloth. After you spread the filling over the dough, pick of the end of the cloth and gently pull letting the dough roll over on itself. You'll be able to get the dough paper thin and reduce tearing. Also, grind the walnuts into a paste instead of chopping them, this will keep them from ripping the dough. This dough is exactly like the recipe I use. The filling is a little diff. I've noticed many variations.

Chewy Date Nut Bars

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2010
I followed the recipe with the exception of adding some coconut. I thought they were great and received many compliments. I might reduce the sugar next time, however, my husband thought they were perfect as is.

Pea, Jicama, and Cashew Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2010
This was just strange for me. I can't say it was bad (probably because I eat almost anything) but it wasn't good. I made it for company and all agreed "this is weird".

Soft, Moist and Gooey Cinnamon Buns

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2011
I did not care for these at all. They were too soft if there is such a thing. They melted in your mouth in a bad way. I'll go back to clone of a cinnabon.

Beer Cheese Soup VI

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2010
I've made this many times over and it's always good. I added cubed potato and sliced kielbasa and did not puree any of the vegetables. LOVE IT.

Buttery Spritz Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2010
I really liked this recipe. Great tasting dough that was easy to work with. I always line my pans with parchment paper but for this recipe, skip it. They need to stick to the pan a little to pull away from the cookie press. I threw out my old recipe and will use this one from now on. Thanks!

Golden Crescent Rolls

these were fantastic and I agree with the other reviewer, a great place to start for first time yeast users. I'll make them again for sure! Wish I had this recipe years ago.

Cola Pot Roast I

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2009
I served this with pasta and it was a big hit. It was simple to prepare and a different way to make a boring chuck roast. Because I was worried about the package of spaghetti sauce mix being salty and didn't add any of the additional salt the recipe called for. I like the idea of changing it to a Mexican flavor dish and will try that next time. A winner!

Chicken Creole with Chile Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2010
Tasty, but I created a "custom" Cajun seasoning with cayenne pepper. Too much heat!

Grilled Tilapia with Mango Salsa

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2010
I loved the marinade and will use it again. The mango salsa was good but when I used it I couldn't taste the fish. I put it over a green salad with crumbled bacon and vinegar. nice. So I guess I liked both recipes just not together.

I cut this recipe in half and put the dough into a 10x15 pan. They were perfect! I've also used white chips and macadamia nuts. Fast and easy, a great recipe.

I love this recipe. It's easy, fast, and tasty. I put several slices of garlic on top of the chicken as well. This is a great "go to"

I love this recipe, it's so good. I've added white beans and diced tomatoes but it's also good as is. It's become a stand by. Thanks!

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2009
I've made these twice since finding the recipe last week. My previouse attemps at oatmeal cookies resulted in flat and greasy or dry and flavorless lumps. These were perfect! I added diced dates the second time and they were great. Thank you for sharing this recipe.

Cola Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2009
This tasted like pork chops in BBQ sauce. I'm not a fan of BBQ sauce so it was a miss for me. The rest of my family enjoyed them and they couldn't have been easier to prepare.
