Best Tuna Melt (New Jersey Diner Style)

Reviewed: May 20, 2011
Best tuna melt I've ever had/made! I put the rye in the toaster until slightly toasted first then topped it and put under the broiler to melt the cheese. Outstanding!

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2010
Outstanding!!! No one could stop saying how good it was! I did 4 oz instead of 2 of the diced jalapenos as another reviewer suggested and added the panko crumbs to the cheese before putting on top of the spread. I also baked it in the oven and served with toasted french bagette slices. OMG! Will make many times in the future.

Flying Grasshopper

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2010
These drinks were delicious and a pretty shade of green (maybe the other reviewer didn't use clear chocolate liqueur)! We drizzled the chocolate syrup around the edge of the drink at the end and it ran down the inside of the glass in funky streaks. Tastes just like mint chocolate chip ice cream. Fantastic!

I bought a pork tenderloin that had a mustard glaze of some sort on it just to make this Cuban. They were so good we had them two nights in a row. Outstanding!

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2009
I baked my wings at higher temp to get crispy (can't remember exact temp but probably around 375 or 400 degrees) instead of deep frying them and they were outstanding! Making again for the Superbowl this coming weekend.

Sesame Noodle Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2012
I LOVE this salad! I thinly slice red pepper, green pepper and carrots. I might try scaling down the dressing just a bit next time. Even after it was all gone, there was a puddle in the bottom of the bowl. Better more than not enough tho'. Just delicious!

Chicken Scampi II

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2011
Fantastic! After slicing the breasts into thirds (fourths if they were very large breasts), I pounded them to flatten a bit. My favorite meal at the Olive Garden was the chicken scampi and I remembered the pieces of chicken were pounded so I followed that lead. I also added some white wine as other reviewers said and served over angle hair pasta along with garlic bread. It was outstanding and will be a favorite in our household going forward. It was easy and quick too which is definitely an added plus. I'm thinking some asparagus would be amazing added to it so might try that next time.

Very yummy and easy! When I first tasted the filling, I thought it was not flavorful enough but once you put it on the cookies, it is just perfect. I'll definitely be making these again and again!

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2008
I've made this several times and everyone who has tasted it, has raved! I cook as directed but after toasting the rolls under the broiler, I add the meat and some swiss cheese and put it under the broiler again until the cheese is melted. We top them with creamy horseradish sauce and then dive in. Yummy!!!

Red, White and Blue Slaw Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2011
This was the best coleslaw I've ever eaten! I used Marie's coleslaw dressing and the preshredded coleslaw from the grocery store which I always use but with the added ingredients, it was outstanding!
