Chocolate Spread

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2014
Tastes best fresh. We used kerrygold unsalted grassfed butter, organic cocoa powder, and honey. Very chocolatey taste, and did taste a little nutty from the honey. Our family enjoyed it! Thank you.

Nutty Avocado

I have made this twice, both times with honey, and without saffron threads. It's a beautiful looking shake, but it's thick. It's more like a raw pudding to me, but oh so good.

Yum! The whole family is lovin this! I recommend coconut or grapeseed oil instead of vegetable. For a family of four, with small kids, I recommend tripling it. Thank you thischris, these are fantastic!

Alison's Gluten Free Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2013
We have been making this weekly for a while now. We let it cool in the bread machine for 10 minutes. After pulling it out and letting it cool completely, we slice it for sandwiches. I make two batches of the flour blend at a time and put on in the freezer for a quicker assembly. Thanks Allison!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: May 4, 2012
Thank you; these are fantastic! With the use of a bread machine, these are way too easy:) I used whole-wheat flour and yogurt instead of cream cheese, and these were still just great!

This was too good! We did have a pretty good amount of leftovers after frosting our particular cake. So, we ate all of the leftover frosting :) SO SO GOOD!

Egg-Free Low-Fat Oatmeal Cookies

Great! Thanks so much for this one. We used unsweetened applesauce and opted out of the raisins and walnut. These were the perfect sweetness level for us. These are also a great treat for the little ones.

Chocolate Banana Smoothie

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2012
You can make this one using healthyy ingredients and it tastes just as good. I use 1 cup of unsweated almond milk, 1 banana, 2 TBS of cocoa powder, and a dash of stevia to taste. You can also use some almond butter if you like. It turns out great this way and it is healthy at the same time since there is no sugar besides the natural sugar in the banana.

Kale and Banana Smoothie

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2012
This is great for breakfast, I use 1 banana, 2 cups chopped kale, a handful of red grapes, 1/2 cup water instead of soy, a dash of cayenne pepper, and a dash of stevia. It gives me more energy than coffee. I have heard that soy is not that good for you, which is why I use water instead. It turns out great this way!

Mocha Cake V

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2012
Very Good cake. We were out of sour cream, so we subbed the sour cream for 1 cup yogurt plus one tsp baking soda,. We did want more of a mocha flavor in the glaze, so we added 1/2 cup strongly brewed coffee and 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar.

Twinkie® Weiner Sandwich

please, don't use easy cheese with this! In this case, velveeta is better. In fact, I would double the amount of velvetta, because this recipe is sooo cheesy:)

Spicy Brussels Sprouts and Carrots

Reviewed: May 11, 2011
we really enjoyed this. we opted out of the butter/margarine, using water instead, and it was great. if you use frozen brussel sprouts, i would recommend thawing them in water, skipping the halving part, and then just adding in the carrots. we thawed them in the saucepan, then halved them, and then added the carrots and water. we used onion powder in place of the onion, and ginger instead of horseradish. we also added in some yellow mustard. it's the brussel sprout & carrot combo that really seem to make this dish, and the breadcrumbs. everything else can pretty much be changed. thanks for a great recipe!

i'm convinced it's a southern thing. my mom has made a rendition of this for decades. she uses cherries, rains, graham cracker crumbs, pecans, and sweetened condensed milk. she makes it in a bundt cake pan and garnishes it with cherries on top

Frank's® Red Hot® Buffalo Chicken Dip

A-mazing! personally loath canned chicken. so, cooked chicken for about 6 hrs. in slow-cooker, shredded it, & then threw everything else in. added some celery. didn't measure out anything & was still great. (I mean, judging from the ingredient list, how could this NOT taste good.)

Black Bean Rice Burgers

amazing! added breadcrumbs, 1/2 C, as suggested by other reviewers. we are dairy-free, so we used a spicy light-mayo instead of dairy, and sandwiched the burger between two corn tortillas, as to reduce the carbs.
