YUM! This recipe made my day! It was super quick and easy to make. I definitely took other people's advice and baked it covered - which ensured it's juiciness. I also added a dash of Italian seasoning, crushed black pepper, crushed red chilies and 3 cloves of fresh garlic to the meat and onions while sautéing. I also sprinkled fresh chopped basil on each layer, which gave the pasta a rich and irresistible aroma. Without these extra touches, I think it would've been a little bland for my taste and dry (hence 4 stars not 5).
What I loved about it was the sour cream and the provolone melted together - such a creative way of adding lingering creamy/cheesy flavour. This was an awesome dish, I will definitely be making it again in the near future.
