Chicken Tikka Masala
I made this recipe for a desi cook-off and won first place! I did have a few modifications to the recipe. First, alone with all the other ingredients for the marinade, I added an 8 oz. can of tomato sauce and 1 tsp of cumin powder, then I omitted the salt.
For the sauce portion of the recipe, I also added 1 tsp of garam masala and used ghee instead of butter. Ghee is available in most grocery stores now in the "ethnic food" isle. Instead of 1 jalapeno, I added 2 just because I knew the people I was cooking for would like a kick. Otherwise, the recipe was great, and I plan to use this recipe over and over again!
