Airport Bob's Green Beans

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2008
These were delicious!! My whole family loved them. I used fresh green beans and actually steamed them with a steamer pot instead of boiling in water and they turned out perfect. Thanks for the great recipe!

Cheesy Chicken Meatballs

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2010
Great meatballs! The cream cheese kept them from drying out and I did have to use a lot more breadcrumbs though to hold them together better. Instead of Italian seasoning I used fresh rosemary, oregano, parsley and thyme. I served them with some creamy sage pasta and sauce! We loved them!

Blueberry Streusel Cobbler

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2008
Would have given it a 2 or 3 stars if it wasnt for the fact of unnecessary changes I made. I followed the advice of other reviews and added some cinnamon and nutmeg to the batter and found that it was WAY too overpowering..considering there is already a decent amount in the topping. It just took away from the blueberry flavor completely. I feel that if I would have just followed the recipe EXACTLY...it would have came out PERFECT, a 5 star!! I will definately give this recipe another go without the adds...and will re-rate it.

Red Beans and Rice

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2011
This was SO GOOD!!! The flavor combo with all the spices was perfect!! I didn't have enough dried garlic so I used fresh, and thats the only change!!! My ham hock had a ton of meat so I cut back on the sausage some. For newbies, and it's not stated in the recipe, you have to pull your ham hock out near the end and cut off the meat, discard the bones and put the chopped meat back in with the beans. Great recipe!!!!

Schlotsky's Bread

Reviewed: May 25, 2009
Sooooo close it hurts! Anyway...it does need a little seasoning. Maybe just some more salt would do the trick. I think adding sliced black olives with cheddar and broiling it to melt over the olives gets a lot more of the Schlotskys bread flavor since that's what they do. It was very good though and satisfied my craving since we don't have one near us anymore. Anyway great recipe!

Bountiful Garden Zucchini Enchiladas

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2009
These were very good! Always skeptical of trying recipes that haven't been reviewed yet...but this one I couldn't pass up, since I have a load of zucchinis from my garden! The cheese sauce is very creamy and I would have never thought of making it that way! Thanks for the great recipe Annabelle!!!!!!

Coriander Salmon

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2010
This was a perfect salmon dish! The coriander goes perfect with the salmon and I was scared of the hot pepper sauce on this...but it was delicious! when I added the garlic I stirred them around for a minute and them scooped them on top of the fish so they wouldn't burn to the bottom in the last 4 minutes of cooking. Thanks for the great recipe!

These were really good. I took some advice from some other reviews and doubled the ginger and cinnamon. I did burn like half of them :(...be sure you watch them very closely. Mine cooked faster than 7 minutes..more like 6 woulda been perfect.

Colorful Black Bean Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2008
Okay so basically I did a ton of things different (just used what was on hand) but this recipe would have been great as is. I did do one can corn and 1 can blackbeans. Also did yellow onion instead of green onion and green bell instead of yellow. I aslo added some cous cous to make it more filling and used fresh parsley. The dressing for this recipe I did as stated and let me tell you it is delicious!

I was not expecting how much I was going to love these! They are like little toasty bits of heaven! I think they are just as good as fried okra if not better....and fewer calories! Thanks...I will always do my okra this way!
