Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich with Garlic Mayo

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2013
These are fantastic! I added a little garlic powder, S&P to the meat and veggies while they cooked. Just for personal preference I added onto the sandwich some sliced tomatoes and sauteed mushrooms. YUM!

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2013
The only think negative I can say is that I wish the sauce flavor seeped into the chicken more. I did use chicken thighs. This would be great grilled as well..

Best Ever Creamy Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2013
Delicious as is but for all of you spicy lovers a couple dashes of hot pepper sauce really makes this over the top! I love how this is almost cream like but with no cream! Yum!

Best Screwdriver

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2013
This is my favorite way to drink vodka. I had one very juicy orange which was enough for one drink, which I must say is WAY better than the bottled stuff..so good!

I added chopped onion and bell pepper to this...this was a nice change from my usual fried egg and toast :) Even better when served with a bottle of hot pepper sauce! YUM!

Easy Baking Powder Drop Biscuits

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2013
These are THE BEST drop biscuits ever! They don't even need any extra butter slathered on because they have such a nice, buttery flavor already! They are very addicting! I made mine a little too small, so can't wait to make again, regular biscuit size. :)

I'm not sure I've ever had fresh thyme paired with sweet potatoes before. It's a very good combo! We really enjoyed these!

Cheddar Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2013
This really packed a TON of flavor! I baked mine on an oven rack so the bottom would stay crispy. I also threw it under the broiler at the very end for about a minute to make sure the top was golden and super crunchy. Loved it!

Super Seven Spinach Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2013
This is a fantastic salad!! I made "Healthier Poppy Seed Salad Dressing For 2" from this site to use on this salad. Oh, and I shredded my cheese instead of cutting it into cubes. Delicious!

Swiss Steak

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2013
I did this in the crockpot for about 5 1/2 hrs. I tasted at the end and definitely thought it need more sauce and seasoning...so I added in about a cup more water, a bouillon cube and some garlic powder...also added a flour water slurry to thicken it up a bit. Served it over egg noodles, topped with some chopped fresh parsley, and it was devoured!

Apple Pancake

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2013
I thought this was a little eggy to be called a pancake, but still very good and tasty! The bottom is still really gooey when flipped and SO GOOD!! I would try using one less egg next time, other than that delicious!

Basic Ham and Bean Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2013
This is good soup but it really needs a couple tsp. of chicken bouillon or cubes to give it a nice broth flavor...not too much though since the ham is salty. Came together nicely though...great served with a piece of homemade cornbread!

Buffalo Shrimp

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2013
These are okay, a little strong on the hot sauce flavor, just too much of it, and the breading was soggy after dipping in the hot sauce. My husband didn't complain, but I could only eat a couple.

Veal Scallopini in a Sweet Red Pepper Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2013
There is a few things wrong with this recipe. For one thing I would have really liked for this to have a crispy crust and not a soggy wet one. Also the veal was super dry...AND last this was super sweet and off putting maybe a pinch of sugar, or none at all...I just really didn't care for much in this recipe.

How you can love anything that has bacon!! I didn't have the garlic paste so I just chopped up a couple cloves very finely. Nice pop with the addition of the lemon too. Thanks!
