Found this recipe to be really tasty and the lamb was so tender. Marinated overnight and then cooked stove top as directed.

Red Snapper Livornese

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2014
This was a great recipe. I used crushed tomatoes, and I had no capers or black olives, so instead I used some whole green olives. I used flounder and I just placed the fish pieces on top of the sauce in my pan and cooked them through on the stove. It took about 10 minutes for 1/2 lb of flounder to get it to 145 degrees. My husband and I both loved it!

Emily's Famous Chocolate Shortbread Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2013
Perfect! These cookies were exactly what I was looking for. I followed others suggestions of adding extra cocoa and I added some chocolate chips (about 1/2 a bag) at the end. After I added the eggs and vanilla I ended up having to mix the dough by hand. It was very stiff, but perfect for rolling and cutting. They are crunchy and delicious.

Sonoran Tilapia

Reviewed: May 12, 2012
I did not have the cayenne pepper, the black olives or the other special pepper. Nor did I have creole seasoning. I made the recipe exactly as stated except for these ingredients and I used a few Spanish olives in place of the black olives. It was absolutely delicious.

Pierogi (Polish Dumplings)

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2011
This recipe is great. I did add some cheddar cheese to the potato filling because that is how I've been taught to make it. I was happy with the way everything turned out. If you have never made pierogi before, know this: The recipe doesn't mention that you need to add lots of flour as you knead the dough and as you pinch the pierogi together. I mean add a lottt. Otherwise the dough will be difficult to work with. As most reviewers said, to be fully appreciated pierogi are best pan fried, and served with some carmelized onions on the side. So, once you are done boiling them as directed heat some butter in a pan and brown them on both sides.

Pretzel Turtles®

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2011
These are almost too easy. The most time consuming part is unwrapping the candy. I popped the candy topped pretzels in the oven, took them out as directed 4 minutes later and pressed a pecan on top of each one. They are delicious. Crunchy, salty, sweet. YUM!

Creamy Twice-Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2011
Absolutely delicious. I had to substitute the milk for half and half because that was all I had. I also added a little cheddar cheese. Made as directed otherwise and these were fabulous. I got a lot of compliments and will definitely make them again.

White Peach Sangria

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2011
This sangria was really delicous. I made it with fresh strawberries and frozen instead of fresh peaches as recommended by others. I too omitted the sugar and cut this half and half with ginger ale because i was taking it to an afternoon party. Many people commented on how tasty it was!

Broccoli with Garlic Butter and Cashews

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2011
YUM! This recipe was easy and delicious. I followed it almost exactly, except I did trade some of the butter for vegetable oil. I made some tofu separately to go with it and the sauce tasted great on that tool. I will make this again for sure.

Run For The Roses Pie III

Reviewed: May 16, 2010
What a great recipe. This improved on my mom's family recipe that she taught me years ago. I stuck with some of my own stuff though for some items: 1. used 1 teaspoon vanilla and no bourbon. 2. I used 1 egg yolk instead of 2 eggs for a more gooey pie. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Garlic-Herb Red Snapper

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2010
Great! I actually used this on Arctic Char. I just used a squirt of lemon juice for each filet. I omitted the grated lemon peel and the chervil. I added a little slice of butter on top of each filet and a splash of white wine. Baked at 450 for 8 minutes. YUM

Lime Chicken Soft Tacos

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2009
This recipe is DELICIOUS! The flavors that cook with the chicken really mix well. I had left over cooked chicken, so I mixed all of the other ingredients and let them simmer for about 10 minutes, then I threw in the chicken at the end to let it heat. This was such an easy way to use left over chicken. Thanks for the recipe!

Homemade Italian Turkey Sausage

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2009
Delicious! I did not have the fennel seed either, so I substituted fresh basil and sage. I also added 2 cloves fresh garlic and 1/4 of an onion. Throw in some red pepper flakes and some cayenne because I like it a little spicy. YUMMM

Slow Cooker Lemon Garlic Chicken II

This recipe is delicious. The chicken falls of the bone and is full of flavor. I added extra lemon and lots of extra garlic. I also have cooked it with about 1/4 c of white wine and the sauce was delicious.
