Alaska Salmon Bake with Pecan Crunch Coating

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2010
Very delicious! I'll definitely keep this in my recipe arsenal when we have company. The only change I made was subbing hazelnuts for pecans, since that was what I had on-hand.

Sweet Dill Pickles

I made these for family and coworkers last Christmas. They were a big hit. Will definitely try experimenting with pepper flakes or garlic in future batches. A definite keeper!

Spring Vegetable Medley

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2010
Yes, definitely a keeper. I also didn't think the butter, Dijon, thyme mixture would not be enough to sufficiently cover everything, but it was. I added a pre-browned chicken breast cut into chunks and turned it into a one-pot meal. Will do it again someday, and maybe try chunks of polish sausage in place of the chicken. Yum!

Butter-Dipped Biscuit Squares

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2009
These were a big hit for my family! I followed the recipe, using self-rising flour substitute. I did make one change. The only flour I had at the time was whole wheat, so I gave it a try. It turned out really good. I'm thinking of mixing in cinnamon next time for a breakfasty version.

Blue Cheese Burgers

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2009
Very delicious!! I halved the recipe, since it was just the two of us. Normally my spouse isn't too enthused about blue cheese. I really like it, in moderation. The level of the blue cheese flavor was just right. We couldn't detect any of the hot pepper sauce, so I might add a bit more next time. Other than that, it was excellent! I cooked them on top of the stove in an All Clad skillet, so the patties browned up very nicely. Our tummies are full and we have big satisfied grins on our faces!

Easy Deviled Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2008
We love this! Even my 12 year old daughter really liked it and most of us know what kind of food critics tweenagers can be! I pretty much followed the recipe as it's written. The only thing I did that I'd change is that I used store brand stuffing mix, which was fairly coarse. I think it would have coated better if I would have crunched it into smaller crumbles. It was still very delicious!

Dijon-Tarragon Cream Chicken

Absolutely delicious! We all loved it, including my 12 yr old daughter, which says alot. I followed the recipe the first time. I'll play with some of the suggestions next time. I am fairly comfortable in the kitchen, but this was a nice confidence booster for me. yum yum
