Classic Pancakes

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2011
Best fluffy pancakes I've ever made. Only thing I added was 1 tsp vanilla and as the pancake was cooking I dropped several frozen blueberrys on top. I flipped pancake once and they turned out perfect.

Rolled Buttercream Fondant

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2011
Gave four stars only because it's a little to sweet for me. But, that said my eleven year old made it with very little help from me except transfering the rolled fondant to the cake. Neither one of us had made fondant before.

Excellent! Only changes I made was to use pan cake mix 2cups in place of the flour and I didn't add the salt, baking soda, and baking powder. My daughter ate them with cream cheese and syrup. yummmmy :0)

Looks great in jar, makes a beautiful cookie, but me and my daughter just thought they tasted o.k. Still looking for my gift in a jar, this didn't do it for us on taste.

Great cookies and I forgot to add the white sugar. Yes I did. They were plenty sweet I don't think I will be adding the white sugar the next time I cook them.

Tiramisu Layer Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2009
OMG! This is wonderful. I did take other reviewers suggestions. I did add 4 teaspoons of the instant coffee to the cake and made two coffee layers. My big change to the reicpe is I used Baileys coffee flavored Irish cream instead of the liquor. I also doubled the Irish Cream in the cake mix 2 TBS. Filling: I added 3TBS Irish Cream. Frosting: I added 4TBS Irish Cream. I do agree with the others about putting the cake in the frig over night it does set the cake frosting perfectly.

I've made this play dough for years. But, I've never used cream of tarter. Keep kneeding and then roll into ball and let cool. Store in a plastic bag. Perfect play dough every time. No, it doesn't taste could but is completely save if you little one trys.

Simple Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2009
A little plain but good and creamy. I added a few things and jazzed it up a little bit. I mixed in 2cups cheese instead of just the 11/2 cups,1 1/2 cups milk instead of the 1 1/4cups, 2TBS cream cheese, salt, pepper to taste. Baked for 30min Then topped with 1cup french fried onions and 1cup more of shredded cheese and cooked another 10min or until french fried onion have lightly browned.

Really good bread. My daughter had it with a little butter for afternoon snack. I would say next time I will cook on the light crust setting it was a little to brown.
